If you sit corner and shoot deadeye is gonna be more effective they typically close out right in front of you. I think blinders is preferred with on ball shooting
I think this badge does more than increase make percentage in the green window. I think it minimizes the effect of the challenger badge (like clamp breaker vs clamps, or ankle breaker vs ankle braces). I think a more accurate test would be to test with defenders with varying to no challenger badge.

@NBA2KLab can we see the “cones” for deadeye and blinders? So we now which badge we need to use for our play-styles?
I don’t know if I’d go as far as to say “save points” but I’d equip deadeye on a second badge layout.
Pair it with blinders and guard up might have some luck with a KD type of tendency build.
I’ve seen a couple guys shooting like it’s 19 again lol

I think this badge works best in pick and roll going against drop coverage using pull ups and fades. I use it way more in the mid range game with middy magician and blinders

Im Ngl as a corner sitter Deadeye on silver has been a really good badge I Have a 90 3pt so im not gonna say tm but when people try to run back to help and they get a heavy run off animation as 2klabs said they have to run up to you and literally it pops up all the time so if you put it on id say you put in on a low level

I feel like a consistent theme from past 2Ks till now is a green some contested shots will say 4-5% but that same shot slightly early or late will say 15%+ why is that?

Idk how this would be tested or answered but sometimes I feel like even when certain badges don’t pop up they are still helping. For example, slithery in the past years. Would love to know which badges are like this but idk how you would test that

@@theyreruiningusa I agree. Without limitless takeoff I do "shorter" dunks but when I put it up to Gold, all of a sudden I can perform more explosive dunks and from further away.
I never really see it pop up either.
Right I wanna know if space creator helps with all shots after creating space. Not just the toggled animated stepbacks. But like fades and regular pull-ups after dribble size up escapes

As someone who primarily shoot 3s n middys, deadeye activates for me ALL the time. Almost every close out. And on fades as well.

It activates a lot for me to both on my big and on my 6’5 shooters I also think that it’s like a passive activation badge that allows you to shoot if players sag off a little more. It’s hard to explain.

I’m 7’3. Any shot I take in post or three from limitless in 5 out it activates. This badge is a must have on bronze. I can get it to silver but I just didn’t want to put much into it. Pairing it with volume shooter, claymore, catch & shoot, limitless silver… you make every 3
What badge level do you have volume shooter, claymore and catch & shoot on?
@@allentrujillo1225 volume shooter hof, c&s gold, claymore as high as you can, limitless silver, deadeye bronze. Green machine bronze, but higher is nice as well. I put all 4 of my badge points into shooting. And I have a 85 3pt rating. Best build I’ve mate yet
What’s the point of having claymore and catch and shoot?
@@dominica5416Get an extra boost from claymore if you were waiting to shoot for at least 2 seconds. Catch and shoot adds to that one you finally get the pass and take the shot
So my build is in the position I must choose between gold blinders or silver deadeye, although I suppose I could get them both on bronze for the extra 3-4 badge points… what should I do?

I run hof blinders gold deadeye on my Kyle korver build with 99 3 with 32 shooting badges . I prefer gold limitless and silver agent. I feel I can hit further with my agent 3 as long as I run the gold limitless. I've done hof limitless not enough passes for the badge. So gold is fine.

Played a whole MyCareer game with Deadeye, Guard Up, and Blinders on. Blinders was the only one popping up after I took a variety of shots (close out in front, close out from the sides, contested post fades).
Guard up pops up all the time I’m mc for me
@@thirtythird985 guard up is only good against ai or players who can't play defense. Most good players will at always get a hand up
What even is difference between Deadeye and Blinders?
@@k123n - Deadeye is for late contests in front of you while Blinders is for contests from the side
I play rec as a lock with both and deadeye popped up more but I had no issues getting both on the same shot. As a spot up the close outs are typically face up

Idk if you guys tested it on smaller builds vs taller builds but my 6’1 gets contested a lot more than my 6’8 and deadeye never popped up. When I got my 6’8 it literally popped up on anything from open to 58%😂😭😂 I made a 58% slightly late today with silver. Idk why or how but it’s op on taller builds

@@KG-tt3nl basically once a badge is used a certain amount of times it allows you to core that badges and put the points on other badges in that category. So deadeye silver is 6 pts. Once it’s cored I can take those 6 pts and put it on any other shooting badge and still have deadeye silver

Please do a test on bail out. I use it on bronze every year & it’s been horrible this year whereas in previous years it’s worked beautifully.

in tutes' own words, he's more focused on animations and how a badge helps these stats out, and 2klabs is more for shooting and badges general purpose and if they're good or not for certain builds.

Don't use deadeye or blinders and I take alot of 3s and fades. I shoot just fine. I don't think either of those badges are needed

I’m a lock with 85 3 ball so I’m always spotting up or waiting on those catch n shoot shots and silver deadeye and silver clutch are definitely worth having especially when they close out on you but you have somewhat of a fast release it’ll pop up

If you shoot far enough to where limitless pops up then yes take off catch and shoot because they don’t stack

According to nba2labs it doesn't really help at all. I took it off and can fade just fine from the corners
@@xDaijiro they didn't test fades with the badge. I feel like I get more fade greens with it on but it's hard to know for sure lol
@@Toe0351 I been fading for years so maybe it's a skill thing. But I had both blinders and deadeye on for a good amount of the season. Then tried both separately, but just ended up taking them off and it made no difference in my shooting. Currently shooting 60% in the Rec right now.
