Hello!
These methods can be used for most doll sizes! Join me and learn how to sew wigs for your dolls in around 10 minutes! This is my ultimate doll wig sewing guide, filled with my latest discoveries and best tips!
If you can’t make your own wefts for whatever reason, you can definitely use pre-made wefts and avoid the use of any sewing machines! This is technically a fully hand-sewn wig however I didn’t want to state that in the title due to the use of machines for the weft making. I don’t want to mislead anyone!

I appreciate it! Thank you !! Also I believe it is possible to slow down videos and even speed them up. Just have to click the little gear on the video screen and click playback speed. It should allow you to speed up and slow down most RUclips videos ! I hope it helps!

Thankyou so much❣ You wouldnt happen to know how to fix a fibercraft doll face that has a greenish face? I have one coming that has that. I just started to scan thru ur list to see. I also would ask if you know how to darken the skin tone on a doll? I recently have acquired crochet patterns but geesh them dolls are lacking color, sickly looking n expensive. Hence the defecto doll was cheaper. I really only have to fix the head, neck n arms. And i really want a dark/medium brown tinted slightly red hair wig. Incase u cant tell im really new at this, lol. Learning what i can for this new hobby.
I sadly wouldn’t be able to give you any tips for that. I have zero experience with dyeing dolls however I have seen a few people make it work! I’m sure there’s videos out there ! I really hope everything works out!!

My goodness thats tiny sewing! Kinda like that micro crochet that im trying to master! Never did catch on to that armenian lace too. Needle/thread lace, smh. Love that older sewing machine too. Those r like gold where im at. Had a sewing machine shop guy tell me to hang on to mine. The new ones today wont last as long. And thankyou so very much for responding so quick too❣❣

Thank you!! I love my industrial machine! It was a gift from my grandmother who is an interior designer! This machine is a sweetheart and sews amazingly!! The person that told you that they don’t make machines the same anymore is so right!! I’ve had home machines break down after 4-5 years of use and my industrial is going strong and she’s been working double that amount!!

Thank you! It’s a very old Husqvarna Viking embroidery sewing machine from the early 2000s! It was gifted to me so I don’t know much about it but I’m convinced it’s discontinued since it uses floppy disks to read the embroidery files

Sadly I don’t, the hair was donated by a viewer who purchased it during a chaos sale from Smart Doll. They stated there wouldn’t be more since it was old stock. Haven’t seen the hair up for sale ever since. Thank you for the support!

Wait, for the thin wefts at the end, are you just using a straight stitch? No zigzag? I have some alpaca hair that I need to sew into wefts and since the fiber is thin I need to keep the seam as thin as possible I think ^^;
Yup, A straight stitch back and forth. The zigzag creates too much bulk

I've made one wig before. It just needs some styling and I used yarn fibers.
That’s so cool! I’ve been wanting to make a wig using yarn! They have a unique look that’s easily styled!
@@Joesewz Mine is a bit of a mess but it was a fun experiment. I did end up straightening the yarn wefts because the rainbow yarn I used was just a bit to much to leave it with the natural curl texture when you pull it appart. I'm going to put some loose curls into it.
