I love this and I love your content! I feel pulled to my culture but having grown up in NY so far from everything, I feel worried that I may not be able to do it the justice the practices deserve. I want to learn more and more, and even be a modern day Behique, although I have some friends that might consider me a healer of sorts. So much was lost that it’s difficult to learn as much as I can, and I’m worried I won’t be able to honor the culture properly. At the same time, I can’t help but put together words in my mind that seem to grow new parts of the older traditions. I just hope that isn’t seen as a bad thing, because I see it as growth from the little that remains. Thank you so much for this, and if you have any advice for me, I’d greatly appreciate it!
Your location in NY doesn't create any distance from the ancestors. Remember, before they were in Borikén... They were in South America. The distance, physically, doesn't matter. We connect through the cemis on a plane that's not even of this world. We meet our ancestors where we are. ❤️
Such a beautiful Chant 🥰🙏🏼❤️
Bo matum thank you
Who is Baraguabael? I’ve never heard of that Cemi. Is that another name for Bayamanaco? Thank you for the creation of this song it’s beautiful.
Can you write out the beginning and end of the song as well 🙏🏽
