i am facing an error , it went well till the end but after installing i am only getting a blank screen ( 5:25 ) after that i am not getting the pop up for the user and pass
Hello so I've installed the new light version of kali from the website and I'm having problems getting the tools. I have entered in the commands into the terminal exactly like you did and when I bring up the source list it doesn't have the link in mine like yours does. I also don't have a text editor so I can't edit my source list and add that link into it. When I try updating the source list that seems to work fine. When I try installing the vm wares package it doesn't work for me it says "reading package lists...done. Building dependency tree, reading state information...done, E: unable to locate package open-vm-tools-desktop
installing is one thing but making a pcie wifi card work through it as if it's a dedicated wifi card and not an ethernet interface is another story haha
"This host supports Intel VT-x, but Intel VT-x is disabled. Intel VT-x might be disabled if it has been disabled in the BIOS/firmware settings or the host has not been power-cycled since changing this setting." Do you know what I can do? :/ Nvm got it thanks. :)
