    This is the 18th tee Sunday at the 1986 Masters. Jack went -7 under on the last 10 holes. He had just taken sole possession of the lead with a birdie on 17. He hit a perfectly placed drive with a Three wood.

      jack that day played 9 consecutive holes in 29 shots ie 9th to the 17th.

      Great strategy as a driver would have put the bunkers on the left side of the fairway in play.
      By the way those same bunkers were the result of Jacks amazing powerful swing in his 20’s and incredible length. He would drive very long down the left side thus avoiding the trees on the right side. The Masters placed those bunkers because of his tremendous length.
