I don't think it was willingly. I think Madison got a hold of his body completely and ordered him to hang himself; you can hear a breath inhale after the camera takes a picture of complete blackness & the credit rolls, indicating that the body transfer was complete & Luca did not manage to escape the possession.

Ok holy shiiitt this is the scariest game I’ve watched you play. The atmosphere and the jumpscares and the overall eeriness and the way it fucks with your brain. I saw you were getting frustrated with that circle puzzle tho. it’s ok puzzles frustrate me too.
Fucking jumpscares. Cheap but effective. And this game backed up with its art style and tension building is genuinely scary. I can't say that about many horror games of the last decade.
Usually I hate jump scares but there are a few games where they are actually done well or work some how despite the amount of jump scares. For some , this is one of the few games that does it right as the jump scares are timed well and actually momentarily spooks them rather than just being an annoying "surprise" like most jump scares.
Always sad to see a game with such promising coding and visuals play its hand, and reveal just how much better it could have been with a different writer. The game just constantly feels like it's guiding the player by the nose in terms of both scares and dialogue. As an example, the audio cues are absolutely deafening and absurd. At times, they physically fucking hurt, and I listen to pounding, roaring metal and synthwave to relax after a hard day. There were points I missed scares because I flinched so hard at the piercing screaming of violins. I can't tell whether it's just bad mixing or the devs wanted you to be even more afraid of every jumpscare because they physically hurt you every time they're triggered. The main character's voice acting (while very well performed on the part of the actor themselves), is inane. Sometimes the character's reactions tell us more about himself and the story, but usually it's the game literally just describing what's in front of you, with no additional details or observations whatsoever. It feels like the game doesn't trust the player to figure anything out, to understand the plot, like they have to be told how to react to every scare, how to solve every puzzle, which way to look and how to feel at all times. Like a haunted house ride with cue cards for when you're supposed to scream. (Which would be great as a joke? But this game takes every moment of itself _so_ seriously.) It's patronizing, and incredibly poor writing. Give the player room to breathe. Time to take things in. Give them a "character reacts to/talks about thing" button, like so many other games have! It's there because it works! Let the player have some control over that mechanic and the ability to _choose_ when they gain and/or if they need more information! Tone down the audio cues and have a modicum of faith in the jumpscares you programmed to do their job without having an entire string section screeching apocalypse in the player's ears so they KNOW FOR CERTAIN IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A SCARY BIT RIGHT NOW. That said, as always, the letsplay itself is fantastic, and your content is a wonderful way to sit down and enjoy an experience like this. Thank you, SHN. Even if I don't enjoy every _game_ you play, it's always fun to watch your vids regardless. Even if it does send me on a bit of a game design bender sometimes.
Its bad when youre trying to listen to plot relevant narration and the protag won't shut up. Thankful for the subtitles because otherwise important information would have been drowned out by something completely irrelevant. I also agree on the sound being just....too much. Typically when doing puzzles you rely on sound queues but when theyre just random its hard to tell.
If I were a priest taking the confession of a woman who killed her Nazi husband - a man who admitted to operating gas chambers during the Holocaust - I would say to her, "You are forgiven, child. Some might even look at your deeds as heroic. No penence is required, for God sees murder as a sin. Not ... justice. Go now with a pure heart and let it trouble you no further." End of fucking story, as far as I'm concerned.

Just found the channel … love this game… thank you for the walk trough
Awesome hope you like the different videos I have been playing . Enjoy your stay 👻✌🏼
I would say madison and outlast are the top scariest game by far !!
Visage as well
Fucking jumpscares.
I swear to f*cking God, that damn statue is terrifying
Minute?
Yea she sure is
7:10 I half expected some music to start playing, like this was Welcome to Night Vale.
This game was sono Cool! Seriously!
But this game takes every moment of itself _so_ seriously.)
It's patronizing, and incredibly poor writing.
I'd legit go "Slay queen".
Man, where would horror gaming be today without P.T.?
Dead ….. well it was actually dead in 2014 and I wanted to see how many horror fans there are out there . Point of the channel is to show the developers and publishers that there is a huge audience for survival horror games . I am so happy that there are so many survival horror fans ! P.T was awesome best horror experience I had cause nobody knew what the fuck it was and or what to expect
Very nice gameplay makes me want to purchase this 🎮 game.
Was the confession part an homage to Silent Hill 3? It reminded me of that so much lol
That Spongebob music be hitting different, apparently
Oh now i know how to play this game thank for helping bro😮
That clock puzzle though.
Drinking game - take a shot every time Luca sighs. Alcohol poisoning guaranteed!!!
That’s impossible. Madison hale and her family were supposed to have a normal and good life.
