During God-Pal week I had an Hpal bot that was so bad it was stuck on the wall in Black Rook Hold & couldnt work its way around the wall. Sad part is it was still doing insane healing. His team figured it out and just jumped back to him for top offs lol. He even nailed the BoP lol. Would HoJ the other healer as soon as he got in range. It was crazy to see. 💪😈🤙
Ever since I saw the video you posted about bots in wotlk arena (the bot rogues who were getting sapped then trinketing and sapping the rogue that sapped them) I’ve definitely noticed when something is a bit off. And usually the fights last a long time and we win once their bot bugs out. It’s like the strategy is to not die until their AI fails them lol.
There is a Shadowpriest on EU called Nodispell. I myself have the videos of him. He stands afk in spawn and the first few rounds everyone will charge him to get a free win but as soon as they enter the shadowpriests range the priest starts doing unfathomable dps for a 2.2k lobby. I have only managed to get 1-2 wins on him this season by gripping him to a pillar, and then bugging the script by moving in and out of LOS and hitting him with spells while he bugs out and tries to cast. He doesnt move at all compared to the Evoker bot in this video, which seems strange af first but seeing as pillars are the only way I found to bug him out, it makes sense why he wants people to charge into his spawn first. Look afk, bait them in, then farm them. He has perfect CC on trinkets, Perfect damage rotation, Perfect defensive usage, out of this world swaps, and casts MD on anything in less than a frame unless he is on global. As I said, I have the videos of him. He doesnt take a single step. Reminds me of the No Addiction Lua rotation program that would do peoples perfect rotation and react super super fast to things
Tbh early on the season I played against a prevoker bot too in EU. He was doing everything well till it broke mid game and did the same stuff as this bot in the video. Insane that people are so stupid to actually get to the point of botting. Absolute cringe.
I see bots most shuffle sessions now. They all behave the same, move to a position, turret, then the software they use is a rotation bot which screen reads from Hekili, combined with some custom CC routines similar to the rogue bots in BCC/Wrath classic. Doesn't take much googling to find it's sad af.
I met a scripter bot at least once, the one confirmed time was a lock who as soon as I decursed would reapply a bunch of times and even when the hunter summoned their pet it came into play cursed. It was in a BG so we played pile up on the lock and actually won. I've seen mostly kick bots but not so much recently, in BGs it seems like kicks are far rarer than they once were. You only really spotted them when kicks were set to 0 delay so they'd sometimes kick in the latency before the cast bar even appears, you can do that once and maybe it was an accident. The movement bots used to be the most common but were easy to spot in the Honor Buddy days. Sounds like they're getting more sophisticated.

It's so surreal he literally did not move the whole game just stood there and healed it was a holy priest on eu, and he did exactly the same things as they did in this video health swap once someone get to 20% did not move randomly chastised me and if you ran over the pillar he would malfunction and not move we all twigged instantly that if you ran over the pillar he would stay on the other side it was hilarious watching his dps running over the pillar to get healed then run back in I've never seen it before *oh and if I feared him he insta trinkets and fear me like milliseconds
Can they make the visuals for Earthen a bit more obvious? Obv good players will see it and go to it, but it's very subtle for anyone else - they need to pump that VFX up a ton.

Mass reported the guy and got in game mail from blizz next day thanking for the report.

casters are bad for bots in arena, u have to play melee if u want to cheat, casters will always bug or can get outplayed with range/los at the moment, i think 1 or 2 months then caster bots will work perfect too
Caster bots are the most common BECAUSE they can stand still. Melee requires a lot better movement and positioning. The most common bot I’ve seen over the years is ele shaman, but that could be because that’s the one I’ve seen just stand there and destroy everything until people figure out the actual person is afk… the melee bot wouldn’t do anything it would literally just stand there. Likely the person has no concept of positioning an evoker and the bot couldn’t do what it was intended to do.

its funny once you understand you're playing against a machine, you just adjust your strategy and exploit its weakness. I did the same in my twinking altrerac valley runs
Yeah its like when kickbots were rampent in was it cata or mop? but I would notice their kick bot and just get to freecast the rest of the game cause i knew to just cast and insta stop and wait for the kick lol. Same with a druid who had a bot to cast MoTW when it wasn't up and I just kept pressing purge and he was in and of cat form the whole time we were chasing him lmao
If there was a financial incentive in WoW PVP there'd be way better bots than there are currently. OSRS PvP bots are insanely good, only reason they're as good as they are is cause of the massive money to be made.

Wonder if they'll elect to put in official bots for things like dungeons, raids, solo shuffle, before putting in different game modes. If queues are such a problem the answer is to stem the bleeding with bots why not just make game modes that wouldn't have comp dependent matchmaking restrictions where people twiddle their thumbs waiting for a healer or a non mirror to get a queue. Like ffa, battle royals, 1v1s. Pretty sure they use a bot network to regulate the economy. They do ban waves so that the bot companies can make enough of a profit to rebuy into the game, it's kind of like the rule old timey pirates would sometimes follow about not taking all of a ships goods so that way they would stay in business so they could get caught/robbed by the pirates again.

IDK. if its a bot it's homebrew or really bad/cheap. My younger brother showed me his roommates script/bot and it plays like a person. If i didnt know I would have been hard pressed to tell. The only thing that was odd was how smooth it switched from healing to putting out damage. idk how to put it into words.

Yea, we've had bots in BG's since Vanilla, they were big in TBC when arena launched and blue PvP gear was a long BG month grind.

Healing losses should be based on the DPS your healing in the group. Not the other healer.

the bot dont walk for him, so if he position bad, the bot cant heal. he standing still alot so the bot can do its thing

there is another issue as a healer: your chances to win are half as good as a dd the other heal is better than u
