in this video we are going to imagine Call of Duty Remake, A great game that we need now in next gen graphics, we tried to use all the power and features of Unreal Engine 5 to recreate this such as Lumen, Nanite and Ray Tracing Reflection for Guns
Unreal Engine 5 is Powerful Engine that going to be used to make many PS5 and Xbox Series X|S games

Just don't replace the swastikas with iron crosses. It takes away the historical accuracy and realistic feeling to it. People should understand that having swastikas in WW2 games doesn't mean one supports the ideology.

cod2 is the campaign i replayed the most something around 140 times and sound design is the most memorable part of it for me. those moments of madness when you are trying to advance in snowy street followed by those short moments of silence and then again followed by screech of a door hinge without oil from distance are the most nostalgic aspects of the game for me.

I'm near that count. At least 100+. Although I replayed it a lot with other mods
hasn tgot much better unfortunately. D Day was epic. I was hoping for more of that type of content but with todays armaments but we just havent got it, just stupid Michael bay over the top hollywood action sequences not gameplay.

Played CoD/UO much more than CoD2... but nothing in this looks even remotely familiar.
This is my favorite "Call of Duty" ever. I played it in 2006. It was the only original game I bought for PC, with the exception of those games that came as freebies in PC gaming magazines.

I *just* played Call of Duty 2 for the first time, it's now one of my favorite games.
The cinematic moments are so much more organic than newer Call of Duty games. I wish new Call of Duty sequels didn't have so much time wasted on dramatic scenes with long-winded dialogue.
Yeah because they didn't took control from you and asked you to pay attention on your own instead of forcing to feel a certain or look at something
COD 2 was unbelievably good and most COD fans don't know about it because they started with COD4 or MW2. But COD2 did a lot of ground breaking mechanics in gaming, and the multi-player was amazing!
Agreed, it was my first cod and by far my favourite. The campaign was fantastic and I love the multiplayer. No perks , no kill streaks just pure gaming.
Cod3 my first, I prefer it over 2 personally but 2 was really good
United Offensive multiplayer was peak CoD for me personally.
24/7 Foy, Rhine or Kharkov servers hold a special place in my heart.

@@oliverl89 so many silly people on YT, I see chrome reflective guns and roll my eyes but see no one pick up on poor textures on vehicles? whoever made this deserves a round for their efforts but I wouldn't have showcased this before doing those minor touches myself.
If devs did this then it would require a ton of money (labor isnt free nor cheap). The lighting in this video needs to be worked on heavily

It aint rly the best. ww2 games alrdy became stale at the time and this one was no exception. I mean I also enjoyed it as much as you did but it aint revolutionary in any way nor graphically advanced from its predecessor, also it wasnt that well accepted amongst the community at the time

COD 1 + United Offensive WAS SUPERIOR better in ANY way than this! Even the grafics had MORE charm than COD2! I played ALL cods till BO3 from the beginning some month ago and I was happy when the credits roll after COD2!

Very very nice, congrats to the developers. But I want say that thank to the Unreal Engine 5, all the software house will have to adapt to this big upgrade, so I think next season of games will be something really engaging

COD2’s multiplayer is still on! After all these years, you are able to play mp! It’s unbelievable how much people love this game. This is the one I grew up with. I still play this masterpiece and I don’t think I’ll ever stop.

I replayed the mission where you throw potatoes into the various targets like the window and the bath tub. Then the Germans in the all white jackets were fighting you at the end of that mission and you have to place explosives in the truck and blow it up. I’m going to botch the spelling but they were always screaming something like “van tootin” I was very young at the time but still played it with an adult. I’m 24 now and I have my Xbox 360 copy sitting on my lap right now. Disc clean and clear of scratches and the game guide inside. It’s a national treasure to me at this point.
I love the classic Call of Duty Compass on the lower left side of the screen. Imagine if the rest of the games will keep the Classic Compass over the Modern Ones.
Yooo this is sick. I won't be able to download it because I have no GPU and a single i5-10400k but I love this. I have had the original call of duty 2 downloaded on every PC I've had. Hope it doesn't get cancelled mid development

This is nothing like cod2, the levels, the battles, the concept, the gameplay look and feel nothing like cod2. The HUD that is visible for a moment is from a COD2 mod, not even cod2 itself.

I didn't play COD2 as I was too young but I did play WW2 form 2017 and hearing this music just gives a different feel. My top 3 COD games.

I usually don't like these Unreal 5 reimgainings, cause they usually disregard the style of the original games (like Super Mario, GTA Vice City or Legend of Zelda), but with the early CoD games it would work perfectly (since they also aimed at a realistic look, they just lacked the technology for it). I'd kill for a remake of those iconic campaigns, I basically grew up on CoD 1 and 2, replayed them so much, I could draw the maps from heart. They would look spectacular with 2022 graphics. Though I fear they would modernise the gameplay too much, change the weapon mechanics etc. Still, this video is awesome.

This is not related but I feel like these days with write off new games so easily before ever giving them a real chance just because we are blinded by our nostalgia for the good old days.
New games might be making mistakes and changes to the core gameplay that we feel differs too far from the old ones but at the end of the day with no changes we would be bored of playing the same mechanics over and over again, I personally give every new cod a chance and while some of them I havent enjoyed much (like cold war but this was a me problem not a game issue) I still understood the progress we had made through the years, Now if we had never played those old games we might be looking at the new games with another perspective.

This looks really good, but if you're going to create a concept trailer for a remake of a game, it might help you tried to actually replicate some of the locations and scenarios from the game, rather than creating what is essentially just a bunch of short clips that could be from literally any WW2 game with a title card slapped on the end.
I do know if this is only me but, Call of Duty The Big Redone was my most favorite call of duty of all time.
I can't even count how many hours I've spent and how many good memories I've got of this game. It is the absolute GOAT of cods.
