    I watched the whole day of this evidence and the Inquiry Chairman hit the nail right on the head in the last minute. Why do you have to be so careful with what you say if you’re confident that Horizon had no problems ? He got the answer for whole inquiry in that minute

      You are absolutely right. This clip goes to the very heart of the Inquiry. And Sir Wyn (what a good name that is !😂) hits the nail on the head with devastating effect

    This is the moment he gets her, and she “understands” the question. This diabolical woman is wholly culpable for the crimes, yet her understanding of the question is predicated by her pious self belief that she is the chosen one, and it is her disciples who deceived her.
    She never did her job. She sat in her delusional bubble and took the money. She then went on to take more money from other organisations who liked her style She believes that it is all the fault of a cruel world and that she is god’s innocent ambassador. She needs a prison cell whilst she thinks of an answer. Meanwhile the Sub Postmasters have to rely on their lesser god.

    As I understand, this issue Sir Wyn Williams raises has two contexts;
    1. The POL totally disrespected Sir Wyn when they sought his permission to hand out bonuses to executives while the inquiry was ongoing, Sir Wyn rightly refused to authorise POL to do this however the POL did so and in documents stated that Sir Wyn was in agreement,..
    * Sir Wyn instructed his Inquiry to take action, and subsequently the POL executives were summoned to the Governments Select Committee to answer to their actions, and got absolutely torn apart by the Select Committee
    2. On Vennells seperate Select Committee she stated that Horizon was robust and no issues with it, and this is what Sir Wyn pounced on - Vennells had spoken to certain executives prior to the Select Committee to get her "ducks lined up" so she was prepared for questioning, and it all severely backfired, because she knowingly lied under oath..
    All POL from top to bottom treat Sir Wyn as an doddering old man and like a fool, and now their "chicken's are coming home to roost"..
    Sir Wyn is no one's fool, and he caught Vennells out "hook line and sinker"..he knew the truth and Vennells knew Sir Wyn knew, and she knew that whatever she said she would be lieing under oath..!!
    Sir Wyn was awarded his Knighthood for a reason - respect Sir 👍
    AND.. Sir Wyn has an expert team with him so good luck with the lies and BS Vennells & POL 😄

      And Sir Wyn will be writing the text of the findings. And the Met say they are waiting for that text before proceeding with criminal charges.

    Imagine, at your place of work, some money goes missing. You get blamed. If you deny it you are threatened with court resulting in prison. Or if you admit it you just get a suspended sentence or community punishment. So to avoid prison you admit guilt. Over and done with you think. Then your company sues you for court costs because you were found guilty, you owe £350,000 in court costs. Your life ruined. This company is called the Post Office. Their logo is " whatever you need us for, we're here for you". They spent £100 million in expensive lawers to try to avoid paying £58 million in compensation. The class action saw the incorrectly convicted see £20,000 in compensation after court costs. The executive salaries were between £250,000 and £500,000. Post Office investigators were given bonuses for every Horizon conviction

    Unbelievable struggle to once again present herself in a perfect light when she has just received a judical uppercut for a question that she had not rehearsed an answer to over the past two years with her lawyers . Who are of course aiding and abetting her . All Legal to do so of course too .If you need to run back to your legal team is what he meant ....

      Yes, she might have been better to take up the offer of leaving it overnight to come up with an answer. But of course Sir Wyn would have had overnight to put Paula Vennells further into a mire of her own making.

    Reminds me of A Few Good Men.
    ‘Colonel, I just have one more question before I put Airman O'Malley and Airman Rodriguez on the stand. If you gave an order that Santiago wasn't to be touched, and your orders are always followed, then why would Santiago be in danger? Why would it be necessary to transfer him off the base?’
