It wasn't at all close. Connor defended like 5 takedowns, knocked him down like 4 times, landed an absurd amount of leg kicks, and got almost 100% of the power shots. Little tap hits in a clinch don't win a fight... and that is why Nate lost... because probably 40% of his hits were tap hits in the clinch on the fence.

I loved this fight and no other 2 fighters have entertained us this way for a longvtime. We the fans needed this. The longevity of the UFC needed this. I could watch this fight over and over again. God bless them both.
My god the immaturity in the comments is ridiculous. Kudos to both fighters for giving us one of the best fights in the UFC. It was neck and neck and Connor won based on the cleaner strikes, but Nate gave him one hell of a long and grueling fight. Nate kept pushing forward despite sustaining accurate strikes from Connor. Connor was getting overwhelmed but played it smart by pacing himself and moving away from Nate to pull himself together and time his shots. It was a close fight, but I am just glad that we as fans witnessed such a spectacle.

McGregor wasn't running.. It was strategic. Nate's got 25lbs on Conor and was non-stop trying to hold and clinch his much smaller opponent. Conor out smarted him and didn't allow the bigger man to smother him. Furthermore, giving him more time to catch his breath and go back for more

It was neck and neck and Connor won based on the cleaner strikes, but Nate gave him one hell of a long and grueling fight. Nate kept pushing forward despite sustaining accurate strikes from Connor. Connor was getting overwhelmed but played it smart by pacing himself and moving away from Nate to pull himself together and time his shots. It was a close fight, but I am just glad that we as fans witnessed such a spectacle.

draw, third round steals the show, Diaz smashes Conor to bits, 10-8, fourth
round Diaz let's Conor have the round although dominates him on the
clinch all the time, 10-9 to Conor, fifth round Diaz again, easy round win, 10-9 to Diaz.
update: I can give the second round to Conor 10-9 but clearly round 3 it's all Nate's, here are the rules for all the Mcrunner fans to know:
