    It would be a much more useful video if you told the audience WHY you are replacing this part, and what the symptoms were. Its not really helpful just to watch you replace a simple part. We search these videos to see what problems other people's vehicle have, to try and match to our own symptoms.
    My question is: does this part throw a code when its failed? Did this sensor being bad cause a non start condition? These are pertinent points of information. Please comment if you can remember, well after the fact.

    Ha! Everything you typed is EXACTLY what I was thinking! And after 9 months, NO RESPONSE.
    And at towards the end of the video is when I learned how and why the piece of wood waa wedged into position.
    He did show us how to change out the part, but what lead to pinpointing as to why this work was done is valuable and crucial missing information.
    Bummer!!

    On my 08, the FRPS went out at 72K. Easy fix with the right tools a little patience. Currently, 146K and still rolling. Fingers crossed. 🤞Thanks for your videos.

      Have you had the timing chain issue yet? Or the radiator housing leaking?

    • @BlackNightJack
      @BlackNightJack Год назад +1

      @@mrbigstevo No. I do not have the timing chain death rattle yet. I had a radiator seam (on top) leak in 2011. It was replaced under warranty and have not had another leak since. I still own the vehicle and it now has 150,000 miles on it.

    Thanks for your videos. I've been looking high and low for someone doing an OEM front shock change for the Lexus GX470. There's a sticking point for me with the "absorber control actuator".

      It's not as bad as u think. I install 2" lifts on the 470s while keeping oem equipment.

    So the hard part is getting the intake manifold up, but that is not shown in this video, It starts with it raised with a block of wood.

    Did you have a P-0193 code? Did it fix it? Thanks for sharing. But oh boy I got misslead by your video at the beginnig. Lifting the intake manifold is more that what I was willing to do.

    Did you have to loosen the intake manifold to put the block of wood in?

      @@on2ndtott312 you do have to take all of the bolts out of the intake to block it up. The gaskets on the intake manifold all stayed in place and made for alot easier job. Worked out great for me - hope it works great for you!

      If you watch closely, he loosened the intake to make enough space to work without removing it completely, or else he would have to take apart a lot of crap if he removed the intake.
