i think this is the most perfect a jazz arrangement of radiohead has ever been and will ever be. this is such an incredible piece that has now stayed in my head for 4 years.
this video changed my life. i am forever indebted to jazz and its innovations because of this video. absolutely masterful interpretation of one of the greatest bands of all time.
He comes to the bridge and there's another man, standing there, debating whether or not he should jump. He starts arguing with the man. He grabs the man. They struggle and fight until you see them teetering and finally falling at the last note of the song, but you don't know which way they went. That's just what I see.
Heard the original on an advert recently and it always brings me back to the experience of playing Ben’s charts at uni. Loved the experience and the music is incredible - was honoured to play Bari on True Love Waits - can’t seem to find any recordings of what we did but the memories are still strong! ❤️
This song makes me think of a man in a dark, smokey bar in the 1930's, drinking away the sorrows of the Great Depression. Around 4;30 he gets up, pays his tab, puts on his coat, steps outside, and starts walking down the street The tears start to roll down his face, he gets to a bridge, takes the leap at around 5:20, and you see him tossed by the raging waves until its just him sinking, floating, drifting. His memories start to roll through his mind, slowly fading to black until 7:40 when...
Utterly brilliant. I'm a huge Radiohead fan, and i love trying to find decent covers/remixes/mashups of their tracks - i don't think there are any that i've found that i've listened to more than once, simply because none of them are good enough to justify a second hearing. The fact that i've listened to this 5 times in the last 48 hours definitely pays testament to how far its been ingrained into my brain already - brilliant work!! I hope i get a chance to hear it live one day......
Wow, that has to be my favorite instrumental arrangement and performance of Everything in its Right Place that I've heard. The little nuances in it were amazing, and then the lead into Just was killer. The drummer looked like he was having so much fun haha. That was a really terrific performance and I wish that I could talk about all of it and point out everything I'd like but then RUclips would yell at me for going over the character limit so uhh.... Good job guys! haha
Wish they had zoomed in on the trumpet dude as much as they did with the saxophone dude when the trumpets hit right at the end. But still forever love this piece
Very cool! I love how you slowed it down and made to mood even darker. You brought something new to the chart without adding a bunch of harmony not in the original. I like what you guys are doing. Check out my version of "There, There" for jazz band
I mean. This needs to be sent towards outer space with a warming not to mess with humans. See what we are capable of!? Do you see hear? Don’t you see?!
5:15 pure goosebumps
every few months i remember this exists and i watch it obsessively
Blown away in 2022

the intro to just, with the drum solo leading up to it, is absolutely spectacular. I echo @JoshwithaJ's sentiments exactly.
That drum build up into the horn crescendo was just fucking fantastic! Good stuff!
wonderfully atmospheric, extremely immersive.
Couldn't agree more. Dat crescendoed altissimo note was perfectly timed.
this takes my breath away every time
Didn't know Justin Beiber was an upright bass player!
The end of that first sax solo is SO POWERFUL
amazing arrangement, incredible gig
Wish they had zoomed in on the trumpet dude as much as they did with the saxophone dude when the trumpets hit right at the end. But still forever love this piece
Oh my god, that Rhodes is incredible.
You can tell a musician is really absorbed in it when they have their eyes are closed. 1:19
Loved the lil' squirt of Miles in the solo
This is so cool deserves more views
Goose bumps.

Great arrangement and performance!
Incredible cover. Very innovative. :)
sometimes europeans connect with The Jazz Spirit and that’s what’s happening here. absolutely primal jazz of an iconic piece already

Great gig for DerbyJazz in Derby at Deda Last night,Fantastic
How does the tenor saxophonist get such a great vibrato? Whenever I try it out, I get a mess that sounds like a dying cow, but with really good pitch.
