    I’m half way laying 35m sandstone patio and whoop got 3 + crosses
    Should of watch this before I be most forward planning for the rest

    Everything spot on but u have to use a heavier Wacker to better compact type 1 or subbase . Anyway nice Job 👍

    Would never use building sand in mix, only use sharp sand and cement 5:1 to allow the water to drain through, you never mentioned slurry, also use VERY little water and lay on a semi dry screed mix of 5:1 sharp, gives the bed compressive strength and the slurry on back of the slabs with give the 'stick' you need on the semi dry bed screed mix by more than tenfold

    Have been laying paving for 40 years and never used a do called membrane. If the base is properly constructed then there will be no roots of plants or weeds remaining and no need for a membrane. If you think you need a membrane then you haven't done your job properly.

      Thanks mate 😁 and lol I'm 30 years old but done this job since I was 15 also my brother has even more experience than me so we both been doing it for a long old time now but we both we absolutely love our job 💚

      Why not state how much water and plasticiser to use? People are watching this for advice.

      @@williamanderson4597 that will vary on how wet the sand is from.the merchant. He's right not to put volume of water

    150 mm base wtf? Real is 70 mm is ok
