If you remember or played asphalt xtreme, you would know that if you go on patchy areas or muddy areas, you would lose speed unless you do a orange nitro (a.k.a three nitros in asphalt xtreme).
That's quite interesting but the only place I find this useful is in Grand Prix mode. Unless you can drive manually and know the shortcuts, you're not going to win! This game is fun until you cannot progress any further in career mode because you have to pay (by whichever means because the car hunts don't give you those cars most of the time) to unlock the cars you need to progress.
@rednycto do you have a video explaining the wall run technique? I've seen it in loads of videos but it doesn't work for me - maintaining maximum nitro speed and building up nitro while grinding along a curved wall or railing.
These tricks are better in class d cars in maximum upgrade like I use ds automobile in credit heist for maximum chances of winning and reach on finish line before time!

Not to say that anything is wrong in the video, but a more accurate term for straight drifting is 'Understeer'.
Straight braking in Alu or a9 is like braking before a traffic light but you have autoaccel
You lose no speed except for the speed boost nitro gives
tip: perfect nitro does not decrease handling control. it appears so because of higher speed.

touch steer but it’s hard to use
Red nycto uses tilt. If he used touch like Cars on! Then on both sides a nitro and brake button would be existent.
