Just a tip: If you want the spray to actually be able to hold up things, do a 50 50 mix with the water and soap. These two will create a sticky fluid that can hold a good bit up. So, water and soap does work you just have to use it right.

Idraki Faeez yeah making this is harder than it seems. You need the tape, hot glue gun, lighters, fluid, Velcro, wood, etc. that's WAY more than $2

Great vid. all the materials can easily be found in any home and putting Spiderman in the title should attract everyone from kids to adults. plus it's cool AF. You think anyone would swap water and soap with hot sauce or bleach and shoot someone in the eyes with it? I wonder if you could use a CO2 cartridge instead of butane for that 1st wrist mace thing? the 2nd one, flame thrower, thats great too.

Incredibly difficult to complete. The excess soap took off all the glue and the ejection of the lighter got stuck TWICE while trying to put the pieces together (the metal ring that’s at the end of the white ejector got stuck inside). Instructions weren’t clear enough and I couldn’t recreate it
Update: I finally completed it and i tampered with the original design a little bit to make it more effective. It’s definitely more difficult than it appears but it’s still possible 👍🏻. For those of you trying to recreate this like I did, make sure not to accidentally force down the ejector while reinserting the trigger and keep note that it definitely needs a constant refill if you’re going to play with it

What if you used a two part resin in the web shooter, with the resin in one chamber and the activator in the other, so that when you sprayed something, it gets glued down.
It would be a great idea if resin cured immediately, but even a two part resin takes time to cure
What if you combined the dart with the soap and added multiple anchor points on the dart so it can come back into the tube? This way you can have the web effect and the grab effect. Also what if you add a shaped filter on so it comes out in a web design. Sorta like how you mask a flashlight so it shows a specific shape like the bat signal.

HELP!! Do I just use hand soap for the webs ? I tried using dish soap and then adding butane fuel but nothing happening when I pushed down the lever. I also tried hand soap which didn’t work. HELP PLEASE
