Is this a private tour trip? It's not the same regular first-class-seat ticket you would buy at the JR station, is it?
Because I see that you were given coupons for food at a noodle shop and also bento boxes on the train. There was also a guide to take you to the noodle shop at midnight. There was also a bus to take you to the "rock beach". Is this bus also available to people on who did not buy the tour?
If I buy a regular first-class-seat ticket at the JR train station, do the train also stop at midnight for a long time for passenger to go out and buy dinner? How long will the train stop at midnight? At the "rock beach" how long did the train stop for passengers to go see the rocks?

You cannot just buy a ticket and board this train as you can with ordinary trains.
We need to sign up for a private tour.
      This tour includes
      Sleeper train ticket
Tickets for ramen noodles and meals
Guided tour of the rocky beach
Hotel fee at the arrival point
      Return train ticket
The ramen noodle and Iwanohama bus tours shown in this video are only available to passengers on this trip.
The station stop at Ramen Noodles or Iwanohama lasts about 100 minutes.
Website for registration for this sleeper train tour

      *Only Japanese website is available.
We can apply by phone and through our website.

The Ginga Sleeper Express Train is an inexpensive train that you can enjoy.
The view from the train windows is also wonderful.
The destination, Shingu, is also home to World Heritage sites
such as Nachi Falls, Nachi Taisha Shrine, and Kumano Kodo.
It is difficult to get a reservation for a private room or first class.
However, couchettes bed for groups are relatively easy to book😄
