    The thing about Michael Jordan was that he had at least a couple of these absolutely absurd highlights literally every game.

      @@nickelcapoccia2773 it's too bad you didn't get a chance to see him in his early years in the 80s. The late 80s is where he posted some incredible numbers.

      @pointsur67 I was born in 1981. I saw a few of his games in the 80s but didn't really start following til their battles with the pistons in the playoffs but I got to actually go to a jordan led bulls game at the old Chicago stadium during the 90s.

      Not from Chicago, but I am old enough to have watched the last quarter of the careers of Dr. Jay, Magic Johnson, Kareem, and Bird. I watched the entirety of MJ's career, Kobe's, and have been in it from jump on Lebron's and Steph's. MJ was just "Different!" So far, I have not seen his equal!

    I wish the NBA was now as it was back in those days. Players actually took pride in playing a good defence, and wanted to stop opponents from making easy shots. The game was more physical and not every whiff was a foul. It was the golden age of NBA, where all players tried to be the best on both sides of the court. There was no flopping, travels were called, and rim protectors would jump to block you and stop you from scoring. Watched a few games last 2 weeks or so and there was no suspense, no effort on defence and there was is shooting 3-pointers. Hardly any competitive drive, not an ounce of zest. It's just sad what it turned into.. =/

    For all you LeBron fans rhat want to compare,did you notice that he was doing this in an era wete defense was actually played,and it was aggressive,but yall say he couldn't do it in this powder puff cupcake era,plzzzzzzzzzzz,also note that most times mes he was doubled teamed or even triple teamed and still delivered,so stop the capping and bs about it even being a debate

      I was going to say something similar. The center was a very important piece back then, especially Ewing for the Knicks. He was a great defender in the paint. Had to let that happen to stay in the game.

  • @leechrec
    @leechrec 4 месяца назад +2

    What makes MJ special are his skills. The way he moves without the ball, how he sheds defenders easily, how he creates space, how he reads double teams, his efficient and decisive footwork, etc. It's why he has so many plays where he makes it look easy. Some of his defenders also mistakenly say that he isn't as hard to guard ... because he killed them so quickly. MJ was a 1 or 2 move scorer. He didn't need to execute many moves to get open for a shot and score.

  • @keithkool8308

    • @brileygabriel4949

      And the fact that he did it ALL on ONE team... No "ring shopping" teams. He had like 7 DEAD years with the Bulls, but kept the faith until they were able to surround him with a supporting cast that allowed him to truly shine! You don't see that much anymore... that's one of the reasons why Steph is my favorite current player! Same mentality concerning that!

    THE TRUTH ABOUT JORDAN AND THE REASON THE WORLD LOVED HIM SO MUCH DURING HIS PLAYING DAYS, IS SIMPLY BECAUSE HE NEVER LET US DOWN! HE NEVER CHEATED US AND HE NEVER QUIT! JORDAN GAVE US SOMETHING EVERY GAME WHETHER YOU WERE RIDING WITH HIM OR NOT! IF YOUR TEAM WAS THE OPPOSING TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS YOU KNEW THAT WHEN YOU SAT DOWN THAT THIS WOULD BE YOUR TEAMS TOUGHEST TEST AND THAT IF THEY COULDN'T REIN JORDAN IN THEN THE SERIES WAS OVER, YOU KNEW WHAT HE WAS BRINGING AND YOU HAD EMOTIONS ABOUT IT. JORDAN WAS A HERO TO CHICAGO! CHICAGO AS A BASKETBALL TEAM IS ON THE MAP BECAUSE OF JORDAN! YOU NEVER LEFT THE GAME AS A FAN OF JORDAN AND SAID "JORDAN DIDN'T DO SHYT TONIGHT" JORDAN ALWAYS GAVE US HIS BEST EVEN WHEN HE MISSED IT WAS HIS BEST SHOT! LEBRON IS A GREAT ALL AROUND TECHNICIAN BUT HE CAN NOT MEASURE UP TO JORDAN'S GAMEPLAY! ONLY A FEW, OSCAR, WEST, KOBE WILT ARE HOVERING AROUND THAT LEVEL WITH OLAJUWON AND BARKLEY ON THE FLOOR BELOW! JORDAN TOLD THE WORLD THAT THE BULLS WERE GOING TO WIN GAME 7 AGAINST THE PACERS IN THE EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS! THE PACERS GOT OUT TO A 10 POINT LEAD AND WAS ON TOP GOING INTO THE 4TH QUARTER, WITH A COLLECTIVE EFFORT AND JORDAN PLAYING WITHIN THE BOUNDS OF THE TRIANGLE OFFENSE: LUC LONGELY TONY KUKOC, STEVE KERR AND JUD BUECHLER WERE ABLE TO PLAY IMPORTANT ROLES IN HELPING THE TEAM WIN. BOTTOM LINE JORDAN DELIVERS!

Michael Jordan was not a member of the 60-40-90 club. Bird was the founding member. Larry Bird's 👉body👈 both feet, his back, was the only thing that beat Lary Bird.
