exactly what I was thinking those DD15 if it has been well maintained more like 1-1.2mil before rebuild
Mines is at 820,000, this lady definitely doesn't know nothing. My previous truck was a kenworth and it 920,000 before it was total
@@bankergeorge exact I drove a Freightliner with DD15 (2015) with Schneider it had just over 1 million miles no overhaul and we ran her thru the mountains heavy no problem lmao she was a beast

The shop is in Riverdale, GA they did some work to my truck. But they are expensive and good.
😂😂😂 sound like he needs a series 60 detroit 2007 or older. He would still being going till at least 1.4 million miles before this kind of work needed.
I wouldn't put $23k into a red engine.

$12k for a inframe kit is high. 10:31 OEM Cummins Overhaul Kit for ISX and QSX Engines - 5693813
Price:$4,844.10. if you said (10:24) they charged $12k for a rebuild kit, sounds like they marked up the rebuild kit by $8k.
With no injectors is a little bit high but you cant lose two weeks it will pay for it

my dad had 3 overhauls done on his Volvo at varies degrees, I think it total he got like 3.5 mil miles lol no lie

….dd13,dd15,dd16 cummin, life expectancy is 1 million taken care of .
Ok real talk the 23k ain’t bad but, 5 months is terrible. I know shops that do an in frame in 1 month.
