You're amazing. So simple to do it as you teach it and I confess I've tried to read the user guide many times and I always give up at the start because it looks like the more I read the more complicated it gets. THANKS A LOT.
Great information, Cathy, thank you for making these videos. Hopefully you'll get back into it - I've been struggling to program my MOXF8 for a few years now. I'd given up, as it just seemed overly difficult compared to my old Roland Juno G, which was comparatively really easy. I like the feel and sounds in my Yamaha (especially the Vintage Keys sound bank I found on the Motifator site), but it's tough to get it going.
Mix in a daw. Save yourself the time and grief . Create in pattern mode / transfer the audio to daw, and mix away. Best option for the moxf8. Every song on my channel is made with this keyboard . Thank u for making these videos
thank you very much Cathy, really helpful videos, you say youre not an expert but you really go to the point and make things easy to understand, would you do a video ob how to use and assign level on the metronome?
It's easy. If you are in song or pattern mode, hit the Utility button (under the Pattern button), then hit F2 (Seq) under the screen. Using your arrow keys, move to Volume and dial the number lower to make the metronome softer or louder.
cathy your video is very good I have 2 moxf8 and read book but what a wast of money i do not get to work i wish I had ome one like to help thank you for bing there
Well done! Very interesting. Unfortunately, there are not enough "MOXF How to do ...? demos / tutorials". Some more? We MOXF users... are happy about any tutorial or demos - we can get! It lacks an entire tutorial "MOXF" ... and if that are "5 DVDs"! If you understood 80% of the MOXF afterwards ... everything would be ok! Unfortunately, YAMAHA did not do that. Thanks for the video!

Glad it helped!

That goes without saying. I am just trying to show some of the features that come on the keyboard.

Thanks, Werner. Hopefully you have checked out my other "How To" videos and maybe found something in them that helps.
To add effects to your sounds should be simple, but Yamaha makes it complicated
