DUDE I remember when we played the Celtics and we were always scared af and then Amare came who didn't give a shit and put 35/10 every time we played them. If he only had some support then..
That knicks team wasn't bad tho, think they had Galo, wilson chandler, felton and a few others. They were top 4 in the east that year in terms of talent with miami, boston, etc..
T biscuit The Clippers team wasn't bad either. It had Eric Bledsoe, Eric Gordon, Baron Davis, Chris Kaman, Blake Griffin, and Deandre Jordan. Imagine if all of them were in their prime.
All household names, but wrong times for them on the team. Bledsoe would never be this good if he didn't leave, Eric Gordon was on his way to stardom, then injuries happened. B-Diddy and Kaveman were old already, and DJ never blossomed fully until CP3 and Doc came. But if all were in their respective primes that would be a nasty ass team ngl
legendary game as a matchup, and legendary game from Blake. crazy part is he was so close to having 2 more posters. this was so cool to see especially being that Amar'e was Blake's comparison coming out of Alabama. I'll never forget this one.
I was at this game. Blake Griffin needs to go back to playing the way he did his rookie season; way more tenacious, relentless attacking, aggressive rebounder. He gave so much more energy then, now it looks like he barely cares. Saddest part is he's more skilled now.
Damn why did Knicks make that Melo trade. I'm not hating on him but I swear Amare went str8 downhill after that. The Knicks were fine with those role players around him. Instead they damn near traded a whole squad for 1 person that couldn't click with Amare
Arafat Hussien I remember that Amare played and he got injured snd came back then injured himself again, then had surgery and sat out, then he came back. He played 78 games this season(2010-2011) and 47 the next in 2011-12, to 29 in 2012-13
Blake was so much better and looked like he was getting better each game in his rookie season. the arrival of CP3 didnt help much for Griffin but his team is atleast a titel contender. Griffin is the number 1 player on the Clippers not cp3. he has or had the potential to be a 28.12.6 type of player
Tired of people blaming this on Carmelo. CARMELO cannot control Ama're's knees. It's not Carmelo's fault that Ama're faced a career ending injury. They played AMAZING together, but hey. Not all you Knicks fans watched a game.
greg rose blake is nearly finished, he was an athletic freak, now he's just a not so skillset PF with a weird low post game, a low basketball IQ and the defensive ability of james Harden, put him where you want he won't bring nothing but an early playoff exit IF he stays healthy lol
If the clippers were smart they would've kept Bledsoe and Gordon to build around Blake. Getting cp3 makes you better but they could've had another few tank years and gotten a stud SF which is the only reason they currently suck. Imagine Bledsoe Gordon stud SF Blake and Deandre. That would be nasty and they would have cap room to sign role players
Amare's first year on the Knicks = Absolute BEASTMODE
Almin Mahmutovic yea he finished in the top 5 for MVP voting I think.

I remember this game. This PF duel was crazy.
Damn I miss Amare on the Suns. Those Spurs, and Suns match ups were fun.
Him and Nash on the pick and roll was a thing of beauty.
Bankai Master yeah, amare was better at the suns because of nash. i miss the old suns.

Dawkins keep up the good work bro
Back when BOTH of their KNEES were GOOD. Miss these two putting up big numbers against each other
Amare was the best thing that's happened to the Knicks in the past 10 years and they absolutely wasted his talent getting Melo
brett albert he had injuries tbh
Did you forget the injuries?
No amare had knee problems after the first year
mike breen is really just one of the best play by play commentators

Dymez He has Paul now, he's not the primary ball handler anymore.
Dymez all the offense use to go through him back then, now it's split between Paul and him
Dymez he cant now those injuries decline his tenacity and agressiveness too good he develop his jumpshooting he can use in future
Dymez he had fresh legs
probably wants to have a long career rather than flame out early
Stoudemire was league MVP that year before Melo came...also Landry Fields wasn't buns
Damn why did Knicks make that Melo trade. I'm not hating on him but I swear Amare went str8 downhill after that. The Knicks were fine with those role players around him. Instead they damn near traded a whole squad for 1 person that couldn't click with Amare
He actually got injured. They played wonderful together.

Don Jon lol you was spot on
this game was legendary
I miss Amare I was so bummed when he retired
Amar'e was just a straight up savage. Fuck injuries dawg

Where the hell has this Griffin been? Been awhile since I seen him this aggressive
as big a Melo fan i am, wasn't nothing better than the Pre Melo 2010-11 knicks when Amare was in MVP mode and had the garden rocking
Amare is absolutely beast in his prime years...sad for his career ending injuries, I guess nobody could stop him on defense back then
He was so dominant his 1st season on the Knicks.
i remember this game it was way too entertaining😂them boys was going off
Blake needs a fresh start on a good team like Miami or Boston
greg rose Miami is good? second worst record in the NBA
greg rose blake is nearly finished, he was an athletic freak, now he's just a not so skillset PF with a weird low post game, a low basketball IQ and the defensive ability of james Harden, put him where you want he won't bring nothing but an early playoff exit IF he stays healthy lol
This game should’ve been on the fox sports clippers network.
Back when people were wondering if that spinning dunk was a travel or not
Forgot how explosive Amar'e use to be smh
I forgot what an athletic monster Blake was
Knicks before Melo
Clips before Paul
missing STATS
I mean Mozgov & Cook were getting destroyed out there 🤦🏽♂️😭
RIP this Blake Griffin
if only the knicks build their franchise on amare and try to get a solid playmaker 😢
so sad amare's knees gave out he was a monster

Oh and they had foye. He was a solid role player for awhile
brett albert They were a high seed with chris paul and knocked off memphis. By cp3 secomd year with them they were better than the Lakers
When the time blake griffin murdered two big man which is gallinari and mosgov🔥
This dude was a rookie that season?
With all the injury that he's having, I think Blake lost a couple of steps.
Amare used to be badass
Neither guy guards well against just avg NBA bigs, let alone each other
Ebled, Eric Gordon days.
