I guess I’m in the minority here then because I think his “evolution” has been kind of useless. Yeah he has more guard skills but his defense is still shit and when’s the last time he averaged more than 8 rebounds in a season? He averaged 12 as a rookie and barely mustered 4.7 rebounds last year smh. He wants to be a guard when he’s not
You know what I can admit that Blake Griffin is not my favorite player but I give him complete respect on his work ethic, he change his game completely, that is really hard to do,
Wow Im actually very impressed with Blake. First he was just a dunking machine. Now it seems like he has more of a complete game. Props to blake to adjusting to today's league!
What makes his game even more deadly is he’s mobile on and off the ball and can shoot the three at a high percentage, only his defense is questionable but he improved it drastically last season
I have to admit, he's come along way from being the guy who jumped over a car in the dunk contest. He has become one of the most complete players in the league today. I wish him the best of luck and a long successful career.
Clippers fan and he’s STILL my favorite player don’t even open safari without searching his name thanks for introducing me to basketball full time in 09 💫
How is he this underrated by 2k? Career year and he's still in the 80's, career low and he was in the 90s, led his team to the playoffs. wouldn't be surprised if they made it to the finals this year with iso joe, blake griffin, andre drebound and d rose. mad love man
@@ThaTruth223 im using them on 2k19 along with DJ and Cp3 D Wade Melo the Gasol Brothers and the King, I also have Jamal Crawford Joe Johnson Vince Carter and Dwight Howard on my bench
I honestly reckon that was blakes best season so far. Took his game to a new level with his shooting, not to mention his silky post moves and vicious dunks. D rose and griffin will be cool
Really makes me sad how injures affected this man. You knew it was a possibility by the way he played when he first came in the league, but still was crazy fun to watch.
Crazy to think he averaged the most points in a season of his career that season. Dude was insane in lac so the fact that he really topped that is just crazy. Sure he had lost some of the athleticism but other than that bro had improved at all aspects of the game
Even if Blake doesn’t have hops anymore, as long as he can still drive in the lane and use his post game, along with shooting the three at a consistent rate and being a little bit of playmaker due to his ball handling skills, man will be a very nice weapon for the Nets. Don’t need to put up 25 a night, even just 10-12 points will go a long way with the way he can produce making others better. Welcome to Brooklyn Blake.
I came back to watch this forgotten season. Did I just witess Blake back down Joel at 2:28?? Man it this Blake went to a contender…How much he evolved to stay relevant after the injuries isn’t spoken enough
"Count that baby and a foul." Glad Blake is finding success in Detroit... I've become a part time pistons fan as a result of him being the reason I'm a Clippers fan
He was trying to get tf out of Detroit so he gave it everything he had. Once him & his agent realized no one else wanted to trade for him so he could leave Detroit he practically gave up.
He is a completely different player than when he entered the league. Good for Blake and ultimately the league that he’s finally healthy and playing his best again.
Bro, you obviously don’t know how to use your knowledge statistically. Blake griffin made 191 threes in his FIRST 8 SEASONS. In the 2018-2019, he made 189 IN ALL. This shows that he has improved as an all around player, and yes, he isn’t an MVP candidate, he is most certainly a MIP candidate.
If he’s completely healthy and plays all the games and with the addition of Derrick rose and potentially demar pistons could be a top 4 or 5 team in the east
This man is amazing , now that he is adding the 3's he's an offensive nightmare . Hell bully you on the post and if you don't commit there a high chance that he'll knock that 3
Missed most of his rookie year due to injury was traded to the Pistons in 2017 under Stan Van Gundy and witness a coaching change and help this team make the 8th Seed just to get swept in the 1st round
I miss when Blake was catch lobs and kill people at the rim (also I happened to miss that highlight when he did a 3-point shot off a lob lol) but my goodness he's definitely developed a nice overall game this season. Heavily underrated.
He’s always been my favorite player. From him being on the clippers to now. Although I loved him dunking non stop I feel like this Blake on the clippers would’ve been so much better.
The NBA is a better place when Blake Griffin is good, his evolution has been beautiful
I agree
I guess I’m in the minority here then because I think his “evolution” has been kind of useless. Yeah he has more guard skills but his defense is still shit and when’s the last time he averaged more than 8 rebounds in a season? @@CN-gw5nt he’s been playing next to the NBA’s best rebounders his whole career. Deandre Jordan and then Andre Drummond
Yikes
Dude had a crazy good year and even played 2 playoff games on literally 1 leg and played good
And he was the first to drop 50 this year
If you put this Blake griffin in rookie Blake Griffin’s body you would have one of the best players ever. This season is so underrated.
Dude played his heart out in games 3 and 4 of the first round.
Major respect he left every thing out on the court during this season
And was injured
2 out of 4
Probably took a couple years off his career tho. It’s only been two years and look at him now
@@presleychan3625 years off his career? thats the dumbest sht i ever heard
Blake really worked on his shot he came a long way since them days with melo at usa camp
You know what I can admit that Blake Griffin is not my favorite player but I give him complete respect on his work ethic, he change his game completely, that is really hard to do,
True, i still remember he used to struggle with mid range js back in the day.. now he's making threes like its nothing. He's one hard worker man.
💯
Wow Im actually very impressed with Blake. First he was just a dunking machine. Now it seems like he has more of a complete game. Props to blake to adjusting to today's league!
Antonio LaMontagne his post game has been crazy since day 1. it just because of those highlight made us think he only dunked
His post game is underrated. Maybe one of the best in the league
John Arevalo he’s a top 3 Pf
HES a beast pf
What makes his game even more deadly is he’s mobile on and off the ball and can shoot the three at a high percentage, only his defense is questionable but he improved it drastically last season
He indeed is
@@MarkiGwap His defense is good! It ain't elite but he's pretty good defender.
Dude had a career resurrection this year, good for him
He was always great
@@ARS_Time_Bomb Yeah but he didn't get all-star/all-nba for a while
@@jayvilla6277 true but he still was playing at all-star level
Jay Villa he was injured for two all star games in a row, but he was still voted as a starter for them.
Dude has come a long long way man, thats evolution and adaptability right in front of u. His highlights only included dunks and lobs and now see😊☺️
Blake's game has expanded so much. Great player.
I have to admit, he's come along way from being the guy who jumped over a car in the dunk contest. He has become one of the most complete players in the league today. I wish him the best of luck and a long successful career.
Even he changes his style, he is still powerful.
I just hope he will stay healthy for the rest of his career
Wow
Blake got me into basketball, after. It sucks how injuries affect his game, my poster goat!! I love BG just much as I love Wardell
I remember wen all dude could do was catch lobs this man got 10x better shout out to Blake 💯
I've been watching your videos forever. Big respect.
23 Blake Griffin isn't the most athletic version of him but it's the most skilled version
Clippers fan and he’s STILL my favorite player don’t even open safari without searching his name thanks for introducing me to basketball full time in 09 💫
Bruh was light skinned LeBron for a year
Blake griffin is proof that with enough training you can evolve a good three point shot. Ben Simmons gotta take a page out of griffins book!
William Page yes
Who else thinks with his accessories he be swaggy asf🤷🏾♂️
EvanDaDon Facts
Jeremy Williams that arm sleeve and leg sleeve on opposite sides go crazy
He had a dope ass beard during the 2019 all star game in Charlotte
Imagine this Blake with a prime cp3 back in the day.
I always admired his game especially since he quickly changed his game with his ability to shoot
Most underrated Star in the league TBH

Lets be honest everyone here searched for this just for throwback Blake highlights 😈 He was the only reason I’d watch these Pistons games!
he and d rose are going off next year

He was like 2018 Lebron he was carrying the hole team
Hustle play block leading to a fast break for a nasty assist. Blake has always shown he was special. Not even just putting people in posters
*_The footwork ppl... his feets work. That sets up everything else before your J even develops._*
Really makes me sad how injures affected this man. You knew it was a possibility by the way he played when he first came in the league, but still was crazy fun to watch.

Top 15 no doubt
2019 Blake is a beast! hopefully he wins a chip in Boston!
Hopefully in 2050!
Blake almost seems like Lebron, minus the crazy passing and a slight reduction in basketball knowledge. Kinda dope though!
I always thought that aswell even when younger
the way he plays is basically SF...
Facts
True
He moves like a point guard when he’s at the top of the key

This was such a fun season to watch as a pistons fan
Point forward at it's best, top 3 pf in the league.
This Blake's footwork and skillset + young Blake's athleticism would've been unstoppable

such an under appreciated season from griffin.
who's here after blake moved to brooklyn ?

And he was playing with an injury all season long. Blake Griffin is a true baller. He is a blessing to the DetroitPistons.
One of the absolute SMOOTHEST players in the league
He was trying to get tf out of Detroit so he gave it everything he had. Once him & his agent realized no one else wanted to trade for him so he could leave Detroit he practically gave up.
Blake Griffin , Derrick Rose , ISO Joe Johnson , and Andre Drummond 🔥🔥
And that’s coming from a Bucks fan 💯
19:14 listen to the music it lines up when he makes the shot
I watched this dude in the final four at OU he jumped so high coming down the baseline he hit his head on the backboard!
Blake could play small forward
Been watching your videos since day 1. Respect ✊
BG is one of my favorite PF's. 💯💯💯 imagine him being on a contender type of team playing like this on the Pistons.

He is a completely different player than when he entered the league. Good for Blake and ultimately the league that he’s finally healthy and playing his best again.
Blake evolved from just a pure slasher to a post game stretch big. Beautiful to watch really.
Blake Griffin - the only player who can throw a tomahawk...layup. But he has improved so much that he doesn't need to jump high anymore.
There is no answer for Blake
Yes there is, an injury.
If AD is Center and Giannis is SF Blake is the number 1 PF

House of Highlights ur d real MVP
Blake outthere posterizing people from calling iso damn... His game really evolve🔥🔥
Most underrated allstar year
His game got so patient and mature
True prime blake

If he was on a good team then he would probably be an MVP candidate. Wish he was on a good team😢
Blake loves Detroit, he even said it himself. He says he doesn’t care about who he is or what he does, he just wants to be himself
He fell off lol nowhere near MVP rating

More than human level 💪🏼
He makes it look so easy when he’s dribbling into post shot creating & out of triple threat.

Played with a torn meniscus at the end of the season when he dropped 45 on the thunder and the 2 games he played in the playoffs. Fucking beast
Dam Blake has raised his game all the Way UPPP! Very dope
He never gets enough credit for this season
He makes everything look easy
Great video, keep up the good work.

Some of these finishes are tough !!
Yo 6:18 was MEAN!!!! I hope he gets better and comes out a beast this coming season.
