Hahaaha. True. If you've watching the channel for a while, you notice ever since his latest kid(few months ago) Drongo has been messing up very silly simple stuff😆 I find it funny and actually absolutely love it haha😄.... he's been forgetting name of a landmark(s)/units of old civ, name of popular map, what he was talking about etc etc.......simple stuff. You can see the toll of the new kid......buuuut but since new DLC you can also tell how excited he's abt casting(compared 4 months ago). Wayyy more fun commentary recently.
I like how in every, every game with HRE or OOTD Drongo must talks about the relics quantity and if that's good, great, etc.
And its funny the way he randomly talks about his personal interests in the middle of the match, like if he was talking to a close friend
I think that's why his casts are very easy to grasp for a person new to AOE4. When I was getting into AOE4 content, it was the best thing, he explained everything.

EDIT: After watching the game, I didn’t realize I was so low on villagers for that midgame. Usually I do get up to 130 vills. Def an oversight; probably nerves from fighting a pro 😅

I was blown away at first regarding the alien ship but you can def tell its bird poop on a camera lens with the aircraft moving giving a parallax effect

Yeah that thing cannot be approached except with siege. They have no weaknesses, you can send 100 horsemen after them and you'll lose everything. Siege is the only way against them.

Order of the Dragon cannoneers don’t have fire fx, looks like they’ve got compressors😂
It would be so nice to have a current RPM (resources per minute) in the overlay - if you or someone was able to suggest this to whoever made it that would be awesome!

Dragon Hand cannoneers are really powerful. They are like the Ottoman death ball (Janissaries + Great Bombards) where you can only counter them with a lot of siege. Zhu Xi player kept trying to fight it with army and no siege and paid a hefty price. He should have gone back, made a whole bunch of Nest of Bees and Springalds instead. He had the resources and economy to do it too. I was also a bit surprised he didn't go for trade instead of investing everything into defending the middle golds and not doing it successfully.
A bigger mistake on Wam's side is running 20+ gilded archer without ranged attack upgrade. Probably bad habit from HRE muscle memory.

OTD hand canners don’t even fire and kill, they just delete everything thing 🤯
Nice game and wp to both. Spoiler free comment: I think this shows that the winner is a much better player than the other player (who played well and much better than I play but for example was sitting on 10000 resources at the end of the game but was still failing to max out); if the loser had had, for example, 20 barracks to flood MAA (and better support his ranged units) he may have been able to overwhelm his opponent.

Whilst the bio-marker thing does imply life, there's so much about the universe we don't know and I think saying it's even close to certain until we can get more information is premature. I get that this is a gaming channel and I love that so I'm not trying to be a buzz kill! :)
also neil degrasse tyson pointed out, they look too similar to humans (amongst other even better points but i find this one funny)

it's worth mentioning that french(aoe3) cureu des bois had limit of like 70 while basic villager had 99

What an interesting map generation
The mistake of Defender (Zhu Xi Legacy) was that since its first attack on the enemy base, he was never able to match the enemy army in number of units (Considering that Dragon Order, its units count as double the population). He continued attacking with melee units to slow down the enemy, but he only lost resources in bano, it would have been more profitable to palisade the base and create more springalds to counteract the culverinas. But the biggest mistake was letting the enemy take the relics. Zhu Xi legacy has potential for a quick third age with Shaolin monks included to take away the relics. If you take away their relics and block trade, you can fight Dragon Order better. If you let them get a financial bonus, you are lost. In any case, it is great that Dragon Order can be played ranked with this turtle build.

I think Dragon Cannoneer since they don't have projectile it also make them less Overkill. Very Good Disguise Among Other Unit too. Landsknect Include since they wield Halberd it much better to Disguise as Spearman.
Yeah this is one of the things I hate about OOTD, their spears and landsknect look almost identical when you are fighting a big battle, it's not easy to tell them apart.

i have a question. i hear everybody say dragon vills are 1.2 vills from other civs.
but they gather 25% faster then others and also they have pushcarts 40% they can carry more than other vills
if you get weelbarrel i does not give gather rate so only plus 5 carry
normal vills
10 resources 13 sec 1 resource 1.3 sec
15 resource 19.5 sec
dragon vills
14 resource 13.65 sec 19 resource 18.525 sec
without weelbarrel (just cause is easier to calculate)
normal vill 100 vills 1000r in 13 sec
dragon vill 71.4 vills 1000r in 13.65 sec

defender just has so many resource deposits that it is obvious that he has too few production buildings. The excess overflow of meat could have produced some bald man, those baldman can destroy spearman ezly

Handcannoners beats pretty much everything except siege, regardless of civ. In the late game, whoever has siege dominance generally wins in a straight up fight (only other option is to play around it by going for cavalry raids).
@@Zenanii nah man there's no chance hc beats horsemen and I would suspect spears might end up being pretty neutral to them as well. Kiting might help but equal resources allocated the spears would vastly outnumber them and get the surround to prevent kiting. you get 3 spears to every 1 hc and spears don't use up any gold either. Pretty sure spears are a hard counter possibly. Soft counter at least.
Why don't the hand cannons have any fire effects, it really bothers me lol

Zhu Xi is too powerful, OOTD isn't. Just because you saw a game between a pro and a normal player where the pro destroys the normal player does not tell anything about the civs. If this matchup was the opposite, and Wam had Zhu Xi, this game would have been over in 20 minutes with Zhu Xi winning. There is a big skill difference between those two players that you aren't accounting for
I dont get it. Yesterday, in the nomad ffa Zhu Xi made me Zhuge Nu early game rush with like 20 of them and destroyed me totally, booming at the same time. I could do nothing because the early spearman rush from my site was stopped with Zhu Xi tower spam and my eco is nothing compared to the Zhu Xi.
Here Zhu Xi doesn't even try to rush OOTD and just waits ;_;
In the next game, the Rus destroyed me as an OOTD, even after my horsemen rush. I feel that OOTD is so slow and fragile early game and potentially stronger units are not stronger at all.

If you scout the Zhi Xi player and see him doing Zhuge Nu rush in feudal, you need to mass horsemen and not take any engagement until you have a good mass to do so. If you go on the offensive and lose some here and some there, it will snowball quickly. I have played against them with Abbasid, going 2TC behind it to boom and it works in lower levels, which I assume you are just like me.

Order of the dragons hand canoneers needs a nerf. It's ridiculous. I try to counter em with horseman and even a mixed of mangonels, horseman, crossbowman l, handcanoneers, etc and still have a hard time wiping em.

They are very expensive, though. So yes you need big investment to fight them off. Each one of them costs 480 resources, so when there is a ball of 40 of them, that thing costs nearly 20k resources. They are like an army of nest of bees, you need heavy siege to counter them.
