My younger son got a diagnosis of mild retardation at age two and received speech therapy. At three he got a diagnosis of ADHD, at six OCD. In second grade he scored 99.8 on the tests for the gate program. In fourth grade I got him into a special program for kids not working up to his abilities. He graduated H.S. on the honor roll. Took him five years to get his A.A.. He did make the honor roll. Works part time at Ross stores and is 29. I worry about him becoming homeless if I die.

Anybody here know about ‘Retained Primitive Reflexes?

Yes and it is one of the key to treating autism. By integrating primitive reflexes on time this enables the child to reach developmental milestones sooner. I do think treating retained primitive reflexes only addresses the sensory motor aspect of autism, not the social aspect.
