Congratulations on the baby I can't wait to see him I am so happy for you what are the chances of him having cystic fibrosis my son has cystic fibrosis but he has lots of other things going on with him too so he'll never have children but we were told when he was little that he probably wouldn't be able to have any children and even if he did they would have cystic fibrosis and now I know they can sort through the embryos and put back in all the healthy embryos we were going to the UW up in Madison and we see doctor Braun and we just love him we like everybody up there though it's too bad you have to drive 3 hours away I absolutely hate driving we are in Illinois and we had to get our insurance company to okay us to go over state line it is not easy dealing with insurance companies and I don't think they should dictate to us where we should go I think it should be our choice and who we see they have to pay the bill no matter what so I don't see what difference it makes where you go because once you're done having the baby why should you be forced to go to see those doctors when you were okay with your doctor I just don't get these insurance companies I just think they have too much control and I don't think they should why I look forward to seeing your future it looks beautiful ❤🙏
Hello: Thank you for the sweet message. My husband got tested and is not a carrier of the CF gene, so our baby has a very very slim chance of having CF, but will be a carrier. Dr. Braun is who I had up until now and he is phenomenal. The best doctor I’ve ever had. The insurance issues are always ongoing unfortunately so we always have to make the best of it. I used to go out of state to MN for a longtime and then found Dr. Braun. I went to Madison from the time I was diagnosed for a long time. Then to MN. Then back to Madison. My new doctor I’m sure will be good, since they associate with Madison, but your CF team becomes family. Many prayers for your son, and I hope he is doing well. ♥️
