I love how the rest of the batch just accpets that crosshair and omega escaped and now have a blue dog with them, and make it part of the squad no questions lol
Also this made me realize Batcher is the very last character we see on screen in this show

It also shows how open they really are. If you recall, when we first meet the BAD BATCH, they show a lot of, for lack of a better term, racism towards troopers, mocking their lack of genetic modifications by calling them “regs”. However, when they see Echo with all his cybernetics, they offer him, again for lack of a better term, membership. I guess they’re still a bit racist there because they only offered him a place in the Bad Batch because he received unwanted modifications. Then you have Omega; she wasn’t a modified trooper like the original four members of the Bad Batch, nor was she a damaged reg like Echo. She was different because she was an unaltered clone, but chose to follow her own path. It’s when they finally accept Omega’s request to join them that you start to see they’re actually more open than originally thought. They even warmed up to Batcher pretty quickly, and accepted her as another member. Not to mention that they were also a forgiving unit. Example one: Crosshair. Although his being a soldier to the point of blind loyalty put him and the rest of the Bad Batch on opposite sides of the battlefield many times, Crosshair still expected to receive the same devotion he gives. You no doubt recall how Crosshair shot and killed Lieutenant Nolan out of anger towards the lieutenant treating Mayday and himself like dead weight. Then he makes a break from his cell on Tantiss to send that “Plan 88” message in an attempt to warn his former squad that the Empire was after Omega and endured torture to protect them. He then joins Omega in her attempt to escape Tantiss and they succeed. Even though they didn’t trust him THAT much and had lost Tech months ago; they accepted him back only because Omega trusted him. It wouldn’t be until their mission to Barton IV that the Bad Batch’s faith in Crosshair was officially restored.

@@Noah_Nunez I mean yeah they didn't like the regs, but it's shown and told to us multiple times that the regs didn't like them either, and frequently bullied them. So no wonder there was animosity. But you're right, they don't hesitate to offer those like them, those who are different, a place in their rank. And with time they warm up to other 'normal' clones because they're all in the same boat anyways: trying to fight and/or survive with the Empire abandoning them. The Outpost episode was also about Crosshair realizing that he's no different than the regs in the eyes of the Empire. He thought he was different and that they would view him and his squad as valuable because of their skills and enhancements, but on barton four he realizes that his brothers were right and that he is as expendable as everyone is under thr Empire.

@@peperle I find that you could also say the same about Batcher. She was different from the other lurca hounds; she wouldn't eat the slop that the rest of the hounds ate(I'm not sure how the rest of the hounds would have reacted); she was (quite literally) snappy at first when Omega tried to apply that antiseptic to the wound on her leg. Given how the other hounds acted, I think the other hounds would have just torn her arm off if she tried to reach into their kennels. As for how she appeared to save Omega from that stormtrooper, my guess is that she must have smelled Omega's scent(I guess ALL the hounds would be familiar with Omega's scent, as she routinely fed them in their kennels). I guess that the reason why the Bad Batch welcomed her so openly; Omega must have gone through how she and Batcher became acquainted, and they also saw the advantage, as Batcher's keen sense of smell would allow her to warn the Bad Batch of any potential danger. You recall that when Batcher acted agitated, Crosshair looked to the door and went out "to check the perimeter"; she was barking in alarm to warn them that something was out there, seeing as how, when Hunter turned and saw Batcher barking, he immediately reacts.

I’m glad the Empire did not kill Batcher out in the wild or the pond. I’m glad Omega took her with her back to Pabu.

I find that Batcher wanted to, I guess, prove her worth on those missions; we all see that she played a major part on Barton IV. She didn’t need to be coaxed with a treat to dig the door out to the base; she did it of her own volition. She also helped Crosshair track Hunter by following his scent, and was able to find a weak spot in the ice that they could dig through.

And when Batcher sensed something dangerous (Asajj Ventress) in the caverns that she and Omega had explored often, she immediately alerted the rest of the Bad Batch that something didn’t feel right.
