In the plane chases it's like watching a heatseeking missile cam and the climb rate when you pin the throttle is amazing. I could tell when you were doing those slow rolls that you had a new favorite. Bravo!
How can Ottawa have better weather than Toronto...Porpostorious! It's been raining or windy for over a week here. I like the tune at slow and fast speeds. This might be the next upgrade for me after my 2.5" IFlight HD that I am now flying, but is not so happy in moderate wind. Truly informative video to update the many older reviews of the Mark 4 that had me wondering if the HD update brought back into the "best of 2020" class. And I agree, this might be the best ...until something better comes next month. Reminds me of trying to buy a fast computer.

I was finally getting the hang of acro fpv captain and because my luck is horrible I had a motor die in mid air and crashed. The good thing is hglrc watched my video and agrees it was a malfunction on their end and are sending me a free motor and 20 dollars in credit . This was my first real drone crash . I was probably 50 feet up and it came spinning down to the ground. This geprc looks pretty sweet
pretty cool,i ordered the happy model mantis85 for my first fpv drone.i had another ordered but banggood was out of stock so i changed to the mantis85 which comes with the remote for 161 canadian and i thought that was a great deal,just need a set of goggles now...lol

What do you use Mr for such an amazing and stabilized video quality? Is that done by any program or camera itself does it like that with its digital video stabilization?

So how come this acro drone without gimbal can do it? Is thar GoPro with stabilization? Also could you consider doing a clip about possiblity of having RTF camera drone like you have tested before in a VR glasses mode via app so begginer drone user could have similar to fpv experience? I tried to figure out how to do it but non of the apps seems to work for VR gogles.

No adjustments. I've been flying for so long with so many different drones that I no longer have to adjust the PIDs... I just adapt quickly. This one is very nicely tuned right out of the box.
what is the etiquette regarding following other planes, what if you were to crash into each other ? what camera did you have on this, was it a go pro or the digital camera, the slow flying is really convincing, lucky i didnt impulse buy the one you reviewed a week or two ago
You can do very well for much less than that. Look at an Iflight Cidora or Nazgul. Amazing performance for little $. As I stated above, I've just finished a Mark 4 build. I used a clone frame: $35.00, Iflight E series 2306/2450kv motors, AKK 1watt VTX, Caddx Tarsier V2 4K camera, F405 Mamba stack, and crossfire nano reciever. $330 CDN all told. You would obviously need goggles and a radio assuming you don't have them already, but start with something like the Eachine EV800D box goggle which is cheap and good. You can now buy rather cheap, good quality radios also. DEpending on your flying experience you may want to start with something smaller than a 5". It can be an expensive learning curve.

Def watch captain drone fpv series ! There is a whole lot more to this than you'd think. Expect to solder quite a bit . Personally I think the dji goggles are awesome but am so happy I went with a radiomaster for controller as now I can fly analog and digital and plus its really cool customizing my pictures and sounds on the radiomaster..the dji controller is really basic and twice the price . The goal is to get crossfire which would be impossible with the dji controller.

Do any of these drone kits use Spektrum receivers? I'm really not interested in investing in another brand of radio.

Ha ha... That would be a NOPE because it is an FPV Drone for the FPV Hobby (no such thing as geofencing in the FPV hobby). Geofencing is what you find a beginner drones where everything is included in the box (you know, the kind you buy off a store shelf and then go and fly with no experience, hence the reason for geofencing). For that price you have many to choose from, there is no best because they are all BUDGET camera drones in that range. If you were in the FPV hobby, then it is very different.

When it comes to FPV, I usually buy the drones direct from the manufacturer so as to get them quicker. Unfortunately, no discounts.

That is the FPV hobby. The stabilization is up to the pilot so I just fly really smooth.

Jello always comes from PROPS, so perhaps you just need to replace the one prop out of balance.

No adjustments. I've been flying for so long with so many different drones that I no longer have to adjust the PIDs... I just adapt quickly. This one is very nicely tuned right out of the box.
Going to grab this one or the Mark HD5. The only difference I can tell is the HD5 has the full Dji unit and without the gps.

I've just built a Mark 4 on a clone frame and yes they fly amazing. Did you put rates in or are these the default?
Everything was straight out of the box
I removed the TPU wrappings to reduce weight and hard mounted the motors. I don't see the point of the soft mounted motors with soft mounted FC.

First, watch my series called FPV FOR BEGINNERS (11 episodes). Start off small if you have no hand/eye coordination (small drones).

If you are a beginner then it is FRSKY because if you don't yet know how to fly FPV, you're gonna have a learning curve before you get to CROSSFIRE.

You are in full control. The RC FPV hobby is not considered a beginner hobby hence the pilot is always in full control.

Problem is your phone... up is one way and yours is another way. You can flip the screen on all budget drones... there is an option in the APP.

For that price you have many to choose from, there is no best because they are all BUDGET camera drones in that range. If you were in the FPV hobby, then it is very different.
