Why do the Hydrostreams look unstable and shimmy from left to right? Also looks like the captain is fighting those side to side shimmys at the wheel. Is this typical for that boat? Ive noticed this in other videos as well.

Its a balancing act to keep them on the pad and have to steer it to keep it balanced, they call it chine walking

Love the videos. I have a river rocket setup for 1/8 mile drag racing. Would be cool to string out top end like that. What prop do most run?

What kind of speeds are you typically running. My boat is a low to mid 60's Baja. I would enjoy joining you sometime, but don't know if I could keep up!

We normally cruise 60-80 mph bit we have boats go on the runs with us that only do 45-50. We all end up at the same place!

Look at the hydra stream run . Put big block omc on and see the difference. Or the V8 omc

Hehe... This guy knows what's up... I've been running a 3.6L Evinrude v8 on my Hydrostream Voyager XT for many years. Easy 98mph all day long, and I haven't really been too concerned about the rigging.

Sorry, I love Allison’s, but there’s no sexier boat than those two hydro streams floating the nose down the river!
