HMMWV Transmission cooling loop broke!!

M1123 4L80E transmission cooling loop broke in transfer case causing it to dump ATF into the transfer case. Can grenade both transmission and transfer case. Using 3/8 transmission hose to loop the loop on itself.

Hey there, any update on how this went? Im trying to see specifically what lines need to be looped ubder there. Im looking at a HMMWV to possibly purchase, and it may have this issue. Thanks for any updates!

So far it’s still going strong. Basically just run the line back on itself. Transmission to transmission for example. Then check all of your fluids and you are good to go.

It really is. With one exception. Getting your hands that far up there lol. Otherwise it’s just hose and hose clamps.
