I think it's admirable the fact that kourtney has allowed scott to be so involved within their family dynamic and events.. She will always love him as a father to their children and knows he needs family since he lost both parents. She does have boundaires though which are always healthy! It’s important for her kids to see them leave the past in the past. Also, a lot of the mistakes he made was when he was very sick and at the bottom of his addiction… that is not an excuse, but it is a reason. On top of that, he doesn’t have family of his own… No siblings and both of his parents have passed. Letting him remain in their family after almost 20 years of being connected to it is the right thing to do.
