I got the Star Wars collection back in September, and I just got four more for Christmas. There are two problems I have with it, the price and the longevity, but that said, I still think this is the best soap I've ever used.
@@TheSigmaDadLife I tried putting bars in bowls to use as make-shift soap savers, that combined with lathering more and scrubbing less seems to be working.
What makes the soap last a lot longer is cutting in fourths mine last for a month now cutting it into fourths and also I found a soap saver at Walmart for 1 dollar so that helps too but even then cutting it into fourths helps a lot
1 lasts me well over a month , i lather it up in my hands then i wash myself . I also keep mine in a closed container ..a lot of people are complaining about longevity because they're using it incorrectly...just saying
@@SkyTHEGuy I’ve gotten almost all the scents and honestly my top 3 is freedom fresh, brick of the dead and wood barrel bourbon. I got bay rum as well today along with the deodorant I must say the soap is horrible but the deodorant is awesome!

I just spent in the last month over $650 on drsquatch. It’s interesting you like wood barrel bourbon as your favourite. That was my least favourite, with Bay Rum as my favourite so far. I thought I’d like Birchwood breeze, but I actually didn’t that much. It reminds of old sweaty sneaker 👟 smell. Tomorrow I’ll try alpine sage. I can’t wait.
The best in my opinion is fresh falls, birchwood breeze, and wood barrel bourbon. I don’t know how you don’t like the birch. It’s a fresh, clean, crisp cologne scent to me. Smells so good.and I’m like you. I only want the soaps that you can still smell on your body after you dry off. And those 3 I mentioned do. And just because they are heavy or medium or zero grit doesn’t mean the heavy and medium grit are stronger scent than the zero grits. Try fresh falls. That is a zero grit and that scent is SUPER STRONG.
I had to stop using Duke cannons soap. My skin was starting to become irritated after use. I might try the bourbon from the Dr. After stopping Duke Cannon, I have been buying bulk amounts of natural bars from a soap wholesale company in Cali. I sale some at work to offset the cost.
That is awesome! I did that with my favorite pomade back when I had hair. Haha, had to buy WAY too many though! Let me know if you do try it and what you think of it!
Natural is a tricky subject, 'natural fragrance' is man made so is not strictly natural, lots of soap makers use a mixture of essential oils and 'natural fragrance' to get their stronger soap fragrances. Soap scented with all essential oils are generally a more mild scent which doesn't tend to linger. Loved your video by the way!
I just ordered two bars of Fresh Falls and one bar of Alpine Sage. I haven't gotten them yet. Looking forward to it. I plan on ordering more at some point.
Two or more bars of the same scent can have a different scent. Between me and my uncle we have 3 bars of Alpine Sage,2 bars of Pine Tar etc. Each smells a little different.
I appreciate the input! With it being a natural soap that does make a lot of sense, though I didn’t think about it before you mentioned it. Have you noticed a large difference or just a small one?

I like all things bourbon, l drink straight whiskey with zero Pepsi, l like bourbon air freshener in my car, I like Duke Cannon oak barrel soap and I really like Duke Cannon oak barrel bourbon beard oil. I probably would like the bourbon Dr Squach soap
is the underarm deodorant an antiperspirant? my buddy got one of dr squatch said it stayed on him but was still sweating so I was wondering if its an antiperspirant as well? Also I saw some review videos from a guy who tried dr squatch and sudsy bear and he really likes sudsy bear better. Let us know if u ever try sudsy bear and what ur thoughts were.

Top 5 favorites I tried are: Mars bar (spicy and musky, almost a cinnamon musk smell), black hole ( smells like fresh air and a really good hemp leaf like smell), the Batman soap ( fresh leather, musk, and peppery, very awakening), pine tar (pine trees and just straight goodness), and birchwood breeze (woodsy and a fresh cologne type aroma) gold moss is light but musky (honorable mention)
What they call "Natural Fragrance" isn't natural at all. They say I themselves in their glossary that it's man-made, with a really vague explanation like: "sources like essential oils, distillates, terpenes, absolutes, or other chemical compounds". What does "other chemical compounds" mean? Could be anything, but it doesn't sound very natural when they say it's man-made.
You're paying double the price for a trendy brand. Their marketing is great and if you want to buy it go ahead, but stop lying to us that post shower it smells better etc..... it's soap
Maybe if they didn't spam harass people with annoying ads I'd try them. But as every ad I get is that toe headed dick telling me I'm not a dish, they and anyone they pay to shill their products aren't people I support.
Squatch is a fine soap, but Sudsy Bear soap is on another level. They are a fantastic small business. Great video man!

I can agree with that. They don’t last nearly as long as some other soaps but if you use them with a wash cloth I’ve found they last longer.

Just got three bars including wood barrel bourbon. The pine tar smells great, too.
I love the Pine Tar as well. The Cedar Citrus is one of my favorites... a very clean scent that's not too heavy.

Love the heavy grit. It gets the job done even if my hands are covered in oil or Grease.
