I suspected that you probably worked with Singing Success after watching one of your videos. Now that I watched the second video and see your techniques and terminology I am convinced. I've worked with Brett Manning, Jesse Nemitz and Shelby Rollins when I was in Nashville, so I recognize an associate. I'm a singer-songwriter and also teach voice to a select group of people, but I'm thinking it would be very beneficial if I recorded a lot of my information so that I could share it with all of my students and also anyone on RUclips who desires to watch. I just saw your video called "I'm Sorry" and it's motivational to me. There is so much criticism in the world (especially online) and that is one of the things that has made me put this specific goal on the back burner. There are thoughts of not being as good as other teachers, doing more harm than good, and the fact that I still have areas where I need improvement. As a perfectionist, it's easy to get stuck in that way of thinking. However, when I see people struggling with the exact things that I used to struggle with and overcame, it really pushes me to help others. As I share the things I have learned with people, I can see their hope, improvement and progress. I could help but mention that I recognized the terms and techniques you use. I'm enjoying your videos. God bless.
Mr Wysong- after watching your videos and doing some of your exercises I can FINALLY see some progress in my ability to mix and not just use head voice to reach higher notes, I am finally getting a handle on my 'break'. The information you put on youtube is amazing, and really incredible that you make this info freely available. I am still going to buy your course and/or get some vocal lessons via skype with as I feel I owe you that, and I think it will benefit me even more. I had kinda given up that I would ever be able to sing how I wanted to, and that I just had to live with the 'baritone curse.'-luckily I am a flashy lead guitarist in my cover band so that kinda made up for it lol! Anyway, I want to thank you. Your clear explanations from a more scientific approach have benefited me tremendously.
This video was really helpful. After doing this technique, I landed upon somewhere, I' ve never been. I guees this itself is my mix voice. Also thanking you for the encouragement. Keep going❤✌
the magic trick at 6:26 . the difference i'm feeling is mix adds a mouth resonance to the head resonance, is that accurate? appreciate the encouragement segments at the end this year.
Yes we need a video on power! I can achieve that same placement with thinning out into a mix anywhere above Eb4, but it’s not as loud or as free as yours.
@@musicval7462 Yep, initially it came and went but there are other things I needed to think about as well. Hydration and what I ate. Hydrate well and eat well, you will have a better day. It was a good 2 to 3 months of daily exercising before things started to feel different. Initially even doing the simple exercises like Ge Ge Ge and Mum mum mum on a rolling scale, the moment I got out of chest I was flipping into a more falsetto sound. Then things changed around month 4, all the exercises had more weight. On around month 5, even with the exercises, I had to play around for a few weeks before I found the configuration which made it all come together. If I have a bad day now, I know its down to eating rubbish and not drinking enough.
words cannot express how grateful I am for the tipps you are sharing with us- thank you Tyler🙌🙌🙌❣️miracously you answered my questions I came up with this weekend about mixed voice 🙏❣️ now all I need to do is to practice and follow your motivational adice..
The first thing I'd like to say is that I love people like you. Do you believe it's safe to expand the chest voice register? if so, can you share and teach me any exercises to get there? I switch to mixed voice at f4.
Can you plz tell me how i can get back my bright Falsetto....For November last year I catch the flu and from that my falsetto sound like san in my throat up until this day
Your videos made most sense to me compared to others. I noticed that when i did this exercise(or the puffed up cheeks), on my bridge my voice started becoming raspy/hoarse. It wasnt a smooth transition from chest to mix? Is that normal?
I just got your course. I haven't got a chance to practice the exercises yet because I wasn't at my practice space aka "The Portal" but I listened to them and thought about what it would feel like to be doing them. Then I jumped in my car and went for a ride, and sang an ah from chest to head sliding up and down slow and fast with no break and no actual warm up, so that is promising. I've been able to do this for a while now, but not often without warming up. Which one of the exercises would you say is best to help me stay in mix longer before bridging to head? I can belt up to about b4-C5 but when I go from bottom to top in mix I feel like I'm already in headvoice by around b4
it really depend but for me i got it pretty quickly like 1 week. Try to use ur headvoice and add weight to it but kep the resonance in your head and project the sound. There is no 1 mixed voice. U can have differents shades like more heady or more heavy
@@LightKurusan it really work ..now I can Hit those Upper notes but I think of my headvoice to be added With my chest to sound fuller and I can Gradually lean on those notes
I had no falsetto or mix before I met Tyler. His training works if you follow it!
6:26 - magic! :O

I love this channel, it helps me to improve my technique so easy
Great to hear!
Oooh... I might have to write a song about how short life is. The encouragement section was heavy and sparked that idea :)
You're the man. Thank you very much indeed for your work.
That advice at the end hit home. Thank you ♥️🙏🏾 Great video
Tyler the mix voice master
Loved the last part of your video (the speech). Exactly what I need to hear.
It’s like rehearsing with lax vox. Great way of practicing mix
What can I do if my voice still breaks when doing the straw in water exercise? Any tips?
Damn the end gave me goosebumps 😀 awesome video.

I'm so glad to hear that!
What an excellent explanation.
really good and great message at the end

Took me 5 months of daily exercises to get to that level of power. Didn't come quickly for me.
@@dbanksey216 At first did you have good days when like up to Eb4 is easy and over is doable and others when even around D4 it isn't really free

So I think I found my mix voice, but I can't really tell. How can I find out if I am REALLY in mix voice?

Great video!
You might have to check the "Three Steps To Mix Voice" checklist form. I don't get an e-mail after submitting it.
I'm so sorry about that, I will check into that. Send me an email over at bookingtylerwysong@gmail.com and I will send you the checklist link.
should you be raising your larynx when you do the puffy cheek exercise? i just want to be sure i’m doing it correctly
I don't believe the larynx should be raising during the puffy cheek exercise.
Any chance i can send you recordings of me singing? Im confused if im already singing in my mix or not.
Don't you need to keep the bubbles small and steady?
how Many years will it take to stay On mix.. If I always Do the Exercise for mixed voice?

yes that's the feeling like u connect ur head voice with chest and throat but with a head resonance
First haha 🔥🔥🔥
You rock!!
