Fair play Alan - love listening to you and you gave a shout out to practically every player which is well deserved. SA threw everything they had at them at home and Ireland just blew them out of the water. I remember so clearly when it was exactly the opposite so happy days here. Wish our soccer coaches could learn something from them!
There’s 4/5 guys that are the next James Ryan, Andrew porter, leavy ect that will go straight into international rugby and then there’s guys that will develop and take the same route as will connors and Hugo keenan… guys like Mangan, fiachna barret, Irvine, Mcerlean
Paddy McCarthy was on a different level, Sam prendergast with two try assists, few big hits 100% from boot aswell I think? Backrow dominating the gainline. If we can manage Frances power we should win
@@LeMerchyou say that, making it seem he's well older than the rest. He's playing his age and against lads who are older. And he stands out. So people are allowed to get excited, in what they see for the future of Irish rugby. who are you to tell someone to Not get excited about future stars...
Ireland should replicate the Joe Schmidt strategy of keeping the ball for this one. This France team rolled over England once the game began to loose structure.
Ireland U20s won the Grand Slam for the last two years. How are they the underdogs.? If they play to their top form they are in a 50/50 contest. COYBIG. !!!!!!!! Any chance that Alan could stop saying that the team makes mistakes and errors as if they are different things.
Crazy that the irish pack pmout weighed the sa pack by 50kg , and even with tuilagi in second row weighing 145 kg ireland will slightly outweigh france pack
The ref complained about continuous input from the Irish, they were quite right and entitled to do so, as each input was triggered by a SA transgression. Late hits, hitting a denfenseless player on the ground, roughing [head impact] the chipper, deliberate ball slapping/non-interceptions [no card 🤫] etc, …. I could go on ….. They weren’t making up these events/issues. Is it too much to expect these young Saffers to play by the rules.
Well played Ireland from Wales, now go and win it.
Thanks. Much appreciated
🙏💚
Gleeson was unbelievable yesterday - whole team have been superb given the circumstances

Our scrum, our maul & our own lines out were brilliant 😊
Gleeson, Prendergast, Gunne and Paddy McCarthy look like future senior stars and at least 5 more look like they could be future stars. COYBIG

But you didn't... 50 - 14
Great team. Gleeson is a serious player at world level and hard to believe he is still Under 20 next year.
He’s playing against 18 and 19 year olds, calm down with the hyperbole.

Fantastic result , now bring it home boys
Always easy to listen to alan...always careful and considerate to everyone. Good analyst.

England had the game awareness of a banana. Two tries came from not pillaring the ruck. Some of the stuff they did just gifted France red zone access.

I saw both gamesand was not impressed by Ireland against a poor SA.
The last 3 years as 2020 and 21 were called off. 3 grand slams in a row. But thus is the world cup, and France are going for 3 in a row
Epic result. GOYBIG.
the french 9&10 have pretty much champs cup experiance , compare that to irish exposure without suicide squads sent to south africa!
What's going on with the studio sound?

Ireland vs France. 30 years ago talent >> structure. These days structure >> talent. Hence…. Ireland to win 🥇
Poor crop of SA players tbh. Last year told a different picture. Congrats Ireland.
Ah, pipe up. Muppet.

@@Budge94you need to get some sleep lad.
Some of the outside backs looked electric. The 10 was not up to it.
Who is the new bird?
Rog won't come back to coach them players there 20kg to light for him only 150kg to 135kg would suit him
Wha?????
U20s lad 🙄 they're not even Men yet.
@@RazorMouth Yeah but heaviest they can get is 120kg as a decent playing weight that's two small for Rog to be successful
@@DM-rp9ik Because ROG can only coach one style of Rugby?
Have you forgotten where he learned his coaching skills?
