For those that have discovered the magic of my brother #BaqirAbbas via this, here's a montage of him proving that he is simply the greatest #Bansuri (#flute) and #Jazz musician the world has ever known. ruclips.net/video/sF5dV9eQoik/видео.html. Do subscribe to this other channel QalandarArts as via it we will be launching some jazz events with Baqir in 2020 in London.
I can honestly say... The Indian gentleman is by far the BEST FLUTE PLAYER I'VE EVER HEARD. I dont know his name but he's is in a class by himself. Great performance.
His name is Baqir Abbas from Lahore in Pakistan and like you I also believe he's the best flute player I have ever heard. For more about my brother Baqir, do have a look at his recently formed RUclips channel - ruclips.net/channel/UCnKesZzBOu66irpMlUCEbzw
I have listened to and watched this at least thirty times! The interchange between Mr. Abbas and Ted Nash was such fun to watch and listen to!! And the reactions of the LC orchestra left a big grin on my face!
Não tenho palavras para expressar o quanto gostei e estou maravilhada com essa apresentação magnifica! Músicos maravilhosos, virtuosos, criativos, um espetáculo paradisiaco! Saudações aos notáveis!
The Sachal guy on the bamboo flute has just as good a foothold in jazz as his beautiful native stuff. This guy's not just straying into Western Music and Jazz..He 's been around the block more than a milkman's horse and he does it on a sideways, bamboo "recorder!" He plays so fast that you can't see the keys move!! Perhaps over the years, he's worn 'em right down? I just smashed my Boehm flute across my knees. Well. Bent it! The other guy on the western flute must be ready to go to book two, pretty soon! On My Life!!! And...DON'T THEY BOTH ENJOY IT! Bet they have a fight later in the car lot! er ....Joke!!

Flute is basically in subcontinent culture.
I loved it but the 3:50 - 3:55 was a cringe moment, he was going awsome till that mistake
But of course that kind laugh of others saved the moment
That's jazz, dude. The sound of surprise!
what mistake?
Wonderful flute, and I hate flute
