As a Naifu, i really wanted my favourite player to win, and i thought he had huge chances for winning this tournament. I was confident about him beating the 2 seeds above him: Samsora and Tweek because i know he has a very good record against them (he haven't lost a set against Tweek since January, and he never lost a set against Samsora) For real, my bigger fear in the tournament was you, i really had the feeling that you would have ruined Nairo bracket, because you may get upset by some players and thats why you are not TOP 15 in the last PGR, but against the best players like Tweek or MkLeo (or Nairo indeed) you looks like a TOP 5 player in the world. Also you beat Nairo the last time so yeah... But congrats man you deserved the tournament, and i always wanted to see you winning an important event. :)

I only just got into watching competitive smash but you, Leo, Void, Zackray, Tweek have been something else to watch. Watching you and Void go at it a few months back was something else to me. I actively look you up when I see a Major happening to catch vods. Watching you win Glitch live was amazing after watching you fall short all the previous times. It was honestly one of the better tournaments I have watched since smash released and if this is you only beginning to reach your peak the sky is the limit keep at it.
Esam, my fellow Pika power main, I'm so proud of you buddy. I'm in CT so I kept going back on forth on rooting for you and Light but you both played the entire set SO WELL, and you earned the hell out of that W!
I’d like to think pop-offs are separated into 2 categories: hype and emotional. I’d definitely say esam had the best emotional pop-off in ultimate this weekend, but I think all-time best pop-off still goes to Tweek. That man just goes apeshit when he wins (see frostbite)

Best Kirby main isn't huge. It's kinda big, but there just aren't that many high level Kirby players and even if he was at the skill level of a top player, he wouldn't win any big tournaments because Kirby. It's completely understandable that Esam hadn't heard of him. (I read my comment and realized it sounded like an insult, not intended that way. I mained a bottom tier in Brawl and Sm4sh and have a lot of respect for anyone willing to put in the effort the get gut with one. But being good with a bottom tier isn't going to make you relevant as a player.)

CakeAssault is solid as a Kirby but nowhere near the likes of Jesuis.
