So fucking good to have Munky and Head together again, this is the way the world is supposed to be!
Head having hell with that hoodie 😂
so good to see them on such good terms again
Munky flinching at the fly and trying to catch it is funny for no reason
its so great to see them being brothers again
3:40 I thought Twist was from before 1994? When Clown starts doesn't somebody say "I wish we could put Twist on a fucking tape" as if it had already existed?
I thought that too, i thought maybe Jonathan had the vocals but maybe not the guitar parts written by Head and Munky... I'm not sure as well . . I watch all their videos and lots of things don't add up from story to story.. they did do a hell of a lot of Meth and drank a lot, they spent $60,000 on alcohol while recording Follow the Leader, they probably don't remember themselves... i'm not sure
John Frusciante that is correct.
twist like the music style
mt2oo8 it was David that said “I wish we could put that on the fxck8n tape”. But I really want to know is why Head told JD, Fxck you...Fxck you on Clown!?
It is possible that Twist was a different song entirely. The band has repurposed songs, riffs, and lyrics for other songs. It's like ending of Layla, is basically the same ending as Ass Itch. Lyrics from Layla were also used in Lost "Pain and rage and fear I feel". Sections of Alive were repurposed for Need To. I think it's possible that the scat performance from Jon was probably already a thing. So what Head and Munky are referring to here, might just be the guitar parts. Lots of bands like to hold onto things like that. Rammstein did the same thing. Jeder Lacht's lyrics were repurposed in Mutter, several years later. I've got riffs that I wrote as a teenager that I'm going to hold onto for the right band.
I love these guys
issues is one of my favorite albums
Great video
i like to see Head wearing old school sunglasses
they left out follow the leader
the best one yeah!
Well spotted, that's a good point
ugh i wish u taled about all of the albums
SO SHWEEEETTT...much love Tee with LIONS NAMED LEO.[the music worldwide}
gotta love freak on a leash
First thing I thought too dude. I think it's David Silveria that says it
He could be talking about them writing the actual music that went with it. . . "twist" as they knew it then could have been a reference to the vocals of Twist as we know it now.
2:11
issues is my favorite KoRn album tpot is 8th or 9th on my list but still a good album but normaly when a band start a certain sound the 2nd album of the new sound sounds amazing
Head: I have a confession to make.
Munky: Ok, Go
They should’ve also talked about Follow the Leader
Great sit down with these guys.. Love the realness they showed! Stumbled upon after watching a Wes Borland interview re: instrumentation. Hes an interesting cat as well to listen to.
Hmmm interesting. Munky says they wrote 'Twist' after 18 months of touring first album. Strange since on the debut album on the intro to Clown someone says "Damn I wish we could put Twist on the record".... is it me or does the timeline not add up. Anybody else catch this????
O yea good call; don't know what else it could be referring to. I thot it sounds like David. "I wish we could put Twist on the fucking tape." I think their debut record is wholly seared into my brain. Four. Four? Four?
Why did they miss Follow the leader and went from peachy to issues???
HAHA! Cooool stuff
I just can't wait for The Paradigm Shift! they said it's gonnna sound like a mix of Issues and TPOT! Issues is my favorite album, and TPOT is in my top 5! fuck yeah!
Im frm the future.....it sucked.
follow the leader is still a great fuckin album
"if a could go back" what? did head said?
taled?
Untouchables-they took the longest kinda like 2 years on and off in the studio
Talitm-Used the same production has untouchables but wrote Heavy Stellato riffs good live songs
Syotos- Heads Left Went More INdustrail rock
Turn the crank- David left went more world music like heavy prog rock Artsy a lot of layers
Korn III- Raw production prob more raw then there S/t but the writing Stlye of more current Korn
TPOT-Dub step
SEX ART.... and ''BLIND''......and Dennis Shin wrote THAT one and a some others.! great beginning .
i mean, 3:03
I like how they left out follow the leader. Issues was terrible.
Now that you said it, it was pretty obvious what you tried to say..
What the fuck.... pause the video at 2:58 and look at munky, he kinda looks like lil fuckin wayne there man.
talked sorry
One jar of peanut butter? O.O That's a guaranteed poop fest.
Personally i didnt like issues that much, it was alot slower and more calm, and less i guess funky and experimental than the other albums. Still a good one though.
