Their locomotive is in excellent condition, which can't be said for the track work. But it's good to see those shortlines still in operation, they attract traffic to rail where class 1 operators would'n't be interested in, and thus keep more trucks off the roads (although in this case a truck was substituted for by a train trough the street!) Nice video.
Nice catch of the SW9, reminds me out local short line railroad that has several SW15's and GP38-2'S. You can see them under (DELMARVA CENTRAL RAILROAD)
I B Trippin I agree with you. We only have one line near my home Yadkin Valley railway I think, it brings corn for the chicken plants and houses all over this area. But, I can hear it’s horns about 6 miles from my home. Great sound, bless the train crews.
When I film here, I do make a point of filming the local when it goes into Lewistown if it's got a big cut of cars / there's a lull in mainline freight activity.
Just got introduced to your channel tonight.. halfway through this video I had to sub and click the bell.. awesome, awesome video. It's great that you got to film, jump ahead-set up and follow the trip. I'll probably be binge watching your channel in the morning.
One thing about working on a Shortline compared to Class ones and twos, at least we're still small enough to still care about our track infrastructure, something that say both CSX and NS seem to have the most incidents resulting from
OKS !! THANKS for videoing & sharing !! Boy,,those yard rails look BAD ,,Good thing its NOT the main line or sure they would have a big time DERAIL !!! ""KEEP IT SAFE ""!!
Water Street is the most interesting part of this video. Are we not allowed to follow thengine as it passes by and see where it is headed?? Boring video is mostly railcars passing by.
Thank you, eh, I can’t do too much camera work as I primarily shoot photos now, I hit record and stop most of the time but at least try to make it look nice.
Awesome video! Love them shortlines
I love those SW units.
Fantastic!
Delay In Block Productions thanks bud!
Nice. I live in Lewistown and I love watching this go through town!

I love shortline switching, I'm getting tired of class 1 mainline race tracks

Excellent video DD. As always 🤘🤘
THEATREofPAIN270 thanks brother!
That blue building at the end must be a little drafty inside.

I love to see this. Calif, is all class 1. Im over it. Corporate masses. This is railroading.
What is the "screeching" sound of metal from when the trains are moving?
Flanges hitting the inside of the rail head
Is it due to the flange wearing down?
I watch RUclips for the L.I.R.R. and I don't hear that sound.
@@1atech partly, yes. Passenger railroads normally don't have that problem cause they keep everything in tip top shape
Thanks for the reply.
Those wheel flanges on the street shot must've been searing at your ears !! Good gawd...😎
Great video. Used to go out US22 to see family outside of Portage.
Thank you!
Electronic relay switches?
Neat video!
Thank you!
What time of day did you catch the STREET RUNNING?

Robert Gift it’s better then your videos
Interesting footage. The same lens setting and minimal to no camera movements are a disservice to your production.

Great job! RIP headphone users!
Thank you! Hahah yeah, lots of screeching lol.
