I love BR&W ❣❣❣ Rode so, so many excursions with them. #60, the Doodlebug, CF-7, RS1 (in the cab !). Me & my brothers used to love that place as kids, absolutely. Even did a mixed freight excursion with #60 in the snow- idyllic day, that was- but froze our heiners in a serious way. Great trip, gotta go again soon !! 🚬😎
99,400 total YT competitive railfanning points awarded. Key bonus captures; ex Erie SW9 (567 prime mover go Brrr lol), ex CNJ passenger cars, Erie Caboose, Leslie horn, Horn salutes, multiple captures / over the bridge shots, and videoing the crew lol.
Very cool, I love the sound of the Two Stroke Roots Blown 567 engine! That EMD SW9 purrs like a kitten. Good job catching all of this action! Just a question or two to ask: Was this former PRR trackage connected to the North East Corridor Line at one point? And does this trackage have 80 Pound Rail, with the exception of the grade crossings and switches? I saw some "Compromise Bars" at some of the locations where there were crossings and switches. Those of you that don't know what a compromise bar is: A compromise bar allows two sections of rail of different sizes to be joined together. These are "angle bars" or joint bars where one end is thicker and slightly wider than the other side. I saw pictures of train tracks somewhere in NJ, where the tracks had 80 Pound Rail. And the rails were rolled in the late 1880's by, I think Barlow Steel. I'm just not sure where those tracks were though. Keep up the good work, stay safe and God bless.
