Delighted for you that your business is taking off. In a couple of years time you will be building your own bigger premises and employing personnel.
Thank you Ken, the unit is making a massive difference although I miss my ole garage lol
Well Well Well!!
I never thought I’d see you playing with Teddy Bears Testicules!! Haha Great Vlog as always!!
🤣😂 hahaha couldn’t help myself
W0W.... Best van-build channel on the internet.

Thanks guys 💙 have a good weekend
Bloody hell you are rocking it with these van builds. Your a hard worker that's for sure. 👌😅
Thank you 💙
you should get the local tool supply company to send a rep in and show him what you have to cut out and see what he recommends they might even lend you something to try before you buy. hand held electric sheet metal shears might do no mess
That’s a good shout, I’d love to try them and see if they are what I’m looking for for the finer cuts 👍🏻

in this video they cut windows out in a campervan
Another great video Stu. Looking forward to this build. Ideal to have the adjoining unit next door too.
Thanks mate, it made sense to get it being joined onto main unit 👊🏻
Great work see your moving on upwards fantastic work taffyboy.
Thanks mate 👊🏻
Great Video, I bought a small nibbler to do my cut-outs, frightened me to death used the jig saw in the end. Spoke with some guys in the trade and they use mechanical shears.
I’m going to take a look at the shears and see if there is a bit more control on them for finer cuts 👊🏻
@VanologyConversions if you look at thr guy that fits Greg Virgoe's windows in his ducato build uses industrial shears if I remember correctly.
A builder with an automatic van. That’s posh 😂 . Those windows are class. I used seitz but prices are crazy. Liam the terrible uses them ones so good shout matey 👌🏽🏴
I was supposed on the automatic builder too 🤣😂 it’s good to know others are choosing this window too, I gotta say I’m impressed so far with them
Brilliant.love the widows.
Thanks mate 👍🏻
Only got back home late yesterday after being away 2 months switched on the computer this morning and this popped up on my favourites, great to see the update and latest post....Lucky people from Aberystwyth to have the Ducato....I loved that van.........happy to be home and catch up with the posts I have missed and looking forward to the next ones......
Thank you Sandy 💙
Fit a car ramp makes it so much easier and you can also store a van on it over night 👍
My neighbours have ramps and have offered them to me to use if I need them, thankfully it’s very little work under them so I don’t mind at the moment 👍🏻
Fair play that’s decent progress! 🏴🏴
Thanks mate, we’re cracking on now 👊🏻
Loving watching a business start to grow. Breed them tough in Wales wearing shorts in this weather 😂😂😂.
Thanks mate, I hate trousers of any kind so shorts it is, I tried just walking out the door with only my boxers on but mrs wouldn’t allow it 🤣😂
Liking the look of those windows Stu. Can't wait to see them installed.
"It's a works toilet, it's gonna get ruined" 😂😂
These windows are really impressive if anyone is looking for Motorhomes windows in their conversions. I have a lot of lads visit me 🤣😂 besides she got a females toilet in the second unit now so we’ll keep that one pretty for her 🤣😂
I used a nibbler about 40yrs ago when i fitted car speakers in doors in my days fitting car audio equipment, it was a lot of fun trying to not make the hole too big it took a long time to learn how to get it right and cuttings got everywhere you didn,t want,it took longer to clean up the cuttings than fitting speakers, but it was a good tool to use better than tin snips because a jig saw was suitable for car doors, only for door cards
I’d rather clean the nibbled shavings than the jigsaw. That shit gets EVERYWHERE 🤣
Looking good we will enjoy watching you doing the build loving the new building you good good luck to you both
Thank you 💙 this van is really next level 👊🏻
I think your format has been spot on from the first episode its my favorite build channel 👊
Thank you so much 💙 I’ll try keep up
Looking gd a tip I do when I fit sky lights cut 10mm smaller then bend up form a gutter stop not for every one but works for me atb
Thanks Gaz, that wouldn’t work with the flanges I use so I double up on the silicone so a layer underneath and a layer on the outside, so far no leaks on this method 👊🏻
Brilliant video pals so happy for u and next door shop brill❤
Thank you John, onwards and upwards 👊🏻👍🏻
Get in touch with your local Men’s Shed and offer them your off cuts and anything similar.
I got a deal with a local scrappy he takes my metal and wood for free 👊🏻
Awwww bless her, good work guys xxx
She does well and loves getting stuck in 💙
❤love B roll
Do do do do 🎶🎼
What a luxury to have such a unit. Made up for ya man. ✌️😊
It’s making a huge difference, we’re still pinching ourselves 💙
Cracking unit and good idea on getting the adjoined unit too. Proper setup eh!
Looking forward to seeing you complete this one some interesting stuff going in.
All the best. David 👍
Thanks David, it was now or never so I jumped lol this van is going to be epic for sure 👊🏻
Another great informative video stu good job mate keep them coming. 👍
Thank you Nigel 👊🏻
Keep churning em Stu!! Another fantastic episode
Thanks mate 👊🏻
Great video I live just down the road from CVW and got mine from there and fitted by them great bunch of guys .
They were really helpful over the fun when my client had questions. I got to say as well the quality is certainly there in them 👍🏻
Hope you all enjoyed your holiday that went so quick, great video once again can’t wait for the next one love what you’ve got planned for this one. The quality and workmanship is second to none I would be proud to have a van off you and Charlie anyday, keep up the great work and I’ll catch you in the next one 👍😀
Thank you so much that means a lot 👍🏻 this van is going to be epic
Looking great already. Had to laugh at the Nibbler followed by the jigsaw but looks like a great outcome.
It’s so aggressive on single skin and I ain’t got the experience with it so wasn’t gonna practice on a customers van lol trusty ole jigsaw in single skin 👊🏻
@@VanologyConversions I would have done the same. You got a great outcome and that’s what matters.
Did any one else think. Why hot heating from derv heater. And when seen gas heater. I though I'd have that on toilet roof ahhahaha. Great video mate. Just brilliant. Loving your content. Very enjoyable.
Thanks mate 👊🏻
Love your attention to detail
Thank you 💙 got to do it right
Absolutely top notch Stu. Such a great idea to be able to have the unit next door, this will make life so much easier for you. A really brilliant watch & I'm very pleased for you! 👍
Thanks Tim, we don’t do things by half 🤣😂
@@VanologyConversions That acorn is growing bit by bit. 👍👏
Looking great already and im looking forward to watching the build. Well done to you both on growing your business. 🙂
Thank you 💙 I’m super excited for this build it’s next level 👊🏻
Thought you were going to have a fluffy toilet roll holder Stu 😂😂
Lmao I draw the line there 🤣😂 I already made her take all them towels off lol I only need one at a time
Great video, love the fun you guys have. Unit is looking fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you 👍🏻
Don't know if this is any help to you, there is another type of sheet metal cutting tool called a shear, I know Makita make a few different types, but I'm sure other brands probably do also. The shear leaves no mess from what I remember. The metal waste is a thin strip that curls up as you go along. All the best.
I did look at those but not seen them in action yet, I’ll see if I can have a play with them somewhere for those finer cuts 👊🏻
I have the same van. There was al leak at the welded seam in the roof. It is a weak spot. Can ik help you whit a picture?
I found where the water was coming in this morning 🙁 but it can be fixed. Will show in the next video what happened 👍🏻
Another great episode great to to see you both getting the unit organised and I think you are doing exactly the right thing taking the adjoining one it will be so much better to have the two work bays and be good to keep two vans inside for security , obviously increases the overheads but probably pay for itself by making the business more efficient . It is exciting for us viewers to see you doing well and growing the business . PS looks like this van is going to be hi spec will enjoy watching it progress 👍
We got a lot more to do in the original unit but not getting the time right now so gonna bring some hands in to get it done. The second unit will see us right for the foreseeable and we can get the kitchen and office in that one too so perfect 👍🏻 the van is gonna be mint 👊🏻
Building it up gradually as money permits but wouldn’t it be good to one day have a four poster ramp to get under them to do tanks and stuff ? 😂
Another great watch fair play to both of you your doing an excellent job on these van can't wait to see the unit when it's finished,👍
Hi Stu,
Well didn't see that coming expanding already 😅, well done you.
Looks like you are going flat out again with plans for a mini production line.
We are sure that the current van build will be as good as if not better than the last.
Good luck for the future builds, strength to strength 🤞😉
Take care all.
Paul and Joanne 👍 😊
Thank guys, business is good so I shall deliver lol this van is really gonna be epic 👊🏻
Brilliant work, pukka job, blooming hard worker. Char is right about loo perfection. You might get customers who've travelled a distance, ask to use your loo. Additional unit makes sense.
True that, besides I’m too scared to move anything in there 🤣😂
@@VanologyConversions behind every man as they say... ❤️
Good luck, keep going, and more videos otherwise I'll have to start speaking to the wife
🤣😂 that made me laugh, can I come around and watch them with you then 🤣😂
Loving the videos mate .keep up the excellent work 👏 🙌 👌
Thanks Dave 👊🏻
Those windows look awsome, I'm looking forward to seeing them fitted.
When I was restoring my old VW in my mates unit (which was very much like yours but messier) I was going to leave the red oxide untreated in the places where it wouldn't be seen but the bodwork guys in the opposite unit told me to at least undercoat it because some red oxide primers will attract moisture if left uncovered. As I has plenty of undercoat and top coat I gave it a quick squirt as it only took a few more minutes.
I must say I’m really impressed with the windows, will show them fitted in the next vid 👍🏻 your right regarding the red oxide I top coat them with a black spray 👊🏻
Absolutely brilliant episode 👏 so looking forward to joining you on this van build 😀
Thanks mark it’s gonna be a good one 👍🏻
How about you keepna bin for old screws and fixings then take to scrap yard, something for nothing. Wondered also if you was getting a sign up at your unit? Enjoying the videos Stu,
Thanks mate, that’s exactly what that bin turned into and my neighbour is a waste guy so I just give him all my metal and he takes my waste wood for free 👊🏻
I should have waited to mention the sign lol😂
Great to see you business coming on, please do though protect your ears when using that nibbler
Pardon? 😂
Problem is I’d never take em off 🤣😂
@@VanologyConversions Bonus
hi Stu, can you advise on what height you make the frame for the bench seats
Hi, I do them between 450mm and 550mm depending on customers height 👍🏻
Hope you all enjoyed your hols Stu..
Renting the next door unit and knocking through seems like a sound long term decision and cheaper than a mezzanine floor..
One day I may convert a van or should I say, one day you'll be asked to convert my van..😂
I would probably go for all electric but would listen to your advice so especially interested in what goes into the electrics on this build.
By the way on the video the van looks at best a MWB or maybe it's the deception of the camera and it's a LWB ?
It made sense to get it and being the last one but joined to us it was meant to be. Will do you a van whenever your ready mate 👊🏻
Hi, great videos! Did you use the flat or curved windows on this van??
Hi mate we used flats one on this van 👍🏻🚐
Get a wood burner in your house !
We loved our log burner in our last house 🔥
Hi just started watching your channel, just wondering where you get the edging you use and do they only do silver? Keep up the good work
Hi John I get them from Morland in Welshpool, they do a few different colours 👍🏻
So sorry to bother you again Stu but i have just bought the fogstar drift 105 after seeing your review on the rucks, can i ask did you use a ANL fuse for the battery or a different type of fuse, i was thinking ANL or maybe a terminal mounted fuse obviously the rating would be what i work out for my loads.
Many Thanks
Hi mate it’s no problem, yes I used an anl fuse 👍🏻
Thank you very much for that Stu, looking forward to seeing more of the ducato build, all the best with the business
Are you going to fit an electric motor on one of these builds
lol I’m sure the day will come when it is an electric motor 🚐
how much do you charge on labour roughly?
Totally depends on the build and how it will take me mate 👍🏻
Great episode as always👍…..out of interest how much is the rent on your unit?
Thank you, it’s a G a month
@@VanologyConversions thanks Stu, appreciate the response 👍
👍🚐😎
👊🏻👍🏻💙
At 15.50 "other unit - take it now b4 someone else does" ... and yet all the units opposite you are still empty and closed ... don't be fooled. And don't try and run b4 you can walk. 🥺
Can't you make the Mezzanine yourself??
They are all taken albeit some of them are used for storage for local companies and others don’t advertise they are there. I’ve met them all so know they are occupied. There’s quite a few regs around mezz floors so would do it properly 👍🏻
