Stride piano is VERY difficult, and Scott is tearing it up. That was righteous, brother! It's like there are three hands playing the piano. The rest of the ensemble is also top notch! Well done! The performance was the very definition of elegant brilliance at its finest! Bravo!

The pianist, you can't teach someone to play piano like him, this is a very rare gifted skill.

Well you can't teach just anyone to play like that, but you need to find someone with that amazing gift, and then have them spend basically all their life learning and practicing.
There's a reason a lot of professional musicians would have no prospects outside of music, because you need the pressure of this being your only option to even have a chance of getting anywhere near as good.

Sigh, I know I'm maturing when I'm more interested in watching the technical aspects of the piano playing than the length of Robyn's shorts. Wonderfully sung, beautifully played, excellently choreographed and filmed. Great performance all-around.
Scott Bradlee seriously knows how to crank those keys, man. This whole ensemble is freaking great. The bass is perfect, the singer is phenomenal, the drummer is so crisp.

I just found Postmodern Jukebox this week. I’m 60. Possibly the most incredible musical performances I’ve ever seen. Definitely the most entertaining interpretations of songs by “artists” I can’t stomach- “Bad Romance” with the gorgeous tap-dancer and this one at the top.
It goes unfortunately lowkey unnoticed that the piano player is shredding like mad 110% of the time on many of these covers. Hats off my dude, god damn. Amazing.
The vast vast majority of the comments are lifting up the pianist. He doesn't in any way, shape, or form go unnoticed. He's a flippin' legend 💪. It's cool that he does get so much recognition because he has clearly put the work into becoming a master of his craft. 🎹

This is an awesome band. Pity I don't enjoy the original versions of any of these songs, but I've always had a thing for old school jazz and whatnot. Everybody in this little ensemble is really good and Robyn is smokin' hot, lordy lord.

This is a band, they make music, they like the fashion, but that's not what they are marketing. They are marketing their sound. Their sound is not Betty Boop hahahaha.

This music sound great i don't understand why the music industry doesn't bring these styles of music to the masses, I believe that is people hear new music with this style they would love it.
Sadly, it's because it won't sell the massive numbers of ear worm garbage. It's also because it doesn't follow a mass marketing dumbed down formula. That's why Adele is successful and respected.

This is when PMJ was perfect. Chip, Adam, Scott and that girl with the legs. Corner of a an apartment bedroom. Curving a recent song to a classic style. Modest and powerful.
Lets just give props to that drummer, for what he was able to do with a three piece set.
I used to work at a daycare, and the kids loved the original version of this song. Therefore, I've only ever enjoyed this song for Nostalgic reasons...until now! This version of the song is SO much better than the original!

I had 3 sisters who played piano. For decades. Taught by nuns, with frikkin wooden rulers to rap them on the knuckles if they made a mistake. They were good (classical music), but none of them could play this good. Bradlee is gifted, no doubt about it.
