One thing a lot of ppl don’t talk about is Gege’s health during perfect preparation as it was a contributing factor to the arcs length also although I agree I with the zen in clan being under explored maki and Mai dynamic is not as we basically get gist of it in Kyoto
For sure but at the same time I do feel he could've pushed it back if he knew that things were gonna get that rough for him he left us with a whole month break it was crazy

So did yall really think any sorcerer in any clan can stand against them...
You perfectly encapsulated my feelings about this series. I personally don't particularly feel all that invested in the characters or the story, but the fights have been entertaining. Good video
I agree, the pacing through me off 😮 People are excited after Jjk ends to get movies databooks novels one shots but I dont get why when all that information could have been in the main manga in the first place. I thought I was the only one who saw the fast pace problem. Out of many fights and new characters, I could only like Higuruma and Hakari because one was to help Yujis guilt and the other was sought and foreshadowed quite a bit. I was looking foward to Yuta but Ryu and Uru werent interesting as people. Choso really shined though as a character. I can only hope the anime fixes this bad pacing and lets Gege health recovers. The animation so far going from season 1 and what weve for from 2, they been able to fleshout the characters so much better. Comparing Utahimes mansion manga to animations, I have high hopes.
Fr. The anime is the best shot we have for fixing the mad pacing issue JJK's been having as of late. And if it could do more to explore some of the minor B-plots that got set up after Shibuya but were never touched on again, I'm all here for it.
I’ll go easy on Gege because of his health. It’s understandable but srsly the paratext is a serious problem in media generally. If I have to read a novel to get vital plot info for a different novel you wrote? NO! Back to English/Lit 102 for you…or in his case Japanese?
@@wanderinggamer5079 He does have a degree in literature, last I checked. But yeah. The guy has been having health issues lately. But not for that long. I think he just wants to be done with JJK before the year's out. I can't blame him for that desire; long-running series can be hell. Doesn't mean I agree that rushing to an end is any better alternative.
I think the anime can fix some pacing problems , but there's just so much they can add . This isn't Naruto , this isn't One Piece , this isn't Toei or Pierrot ; Mappa's staff is on a tight schedule every season , they may add a few minutes worth of content in order to slow down the pacing a bit (like in Mahoraga vs Sukuna or Jogo vs Sukuna) but they can not make entire episode dedicated to some characters in from scratch .
@@madmouse4400 lol after the entire drama that has been happening with MAPPAs animators, I dont feel we'll be getting anything better anymore. Its so sad because it very clear the director wanted to add more scenes and twist of his own like when they animated the fight with Geto and Toji, they extended it by exploring more of the base. Same with Toji fighting Megumi... sigh... its really sad but what can we do. I loved Hidden Inventory, everything after that was up and down
I love seeing jjk fans come out the woodwork to dick eat this series even though Gege themselves has stated they dont like the direction the series is going (due to editor meddling) and now they are trying to end the series quickly cause the weekly deadlines are killing them.
110% agree with a lot of this, when i hear ppl say culling games is one of their favorite arcs over Shibuya it throws me off i definitely felt like something was missing. Like hopping in a car and finding out something is very wrong only to pop the trunk to find the engine not even there, the pacing was terrible didn't really feel engaging but o well whatever happens, happens
i do lmao, honestly everything he said desperately needs to properly be addressed, gege seriously gotta step up his game or this entire series is about to go to hell
@@ceteene already know her motivations what u talking abt.The only thing that was wasted was her dormain expansion,we coulda gotten that before she died.Everything else that happened made sense.Yeah yuki coulda stayed alive longer but her death made sense because of how she died which was a last ditch effort to kill kenjaku. If you paid more attention to the storyline and how they portrayed yuki, you wouldn’t be complaining.Since Gege isn’t ending it this year that means he is going to explain everything in the future chapters.
Maybe there is something coming with Miwa. By the way you mentioned that everything from the beginning of the manga was built up for the Shibuya Arc, but the Culling Game looks like an arc that is also building itself for a climax, especially regarding Kenjaku's plot, so I think we could get a better grasp of the whole quality of the arc after we see where it is actually leading.
I never really paid attention to the pacing issue until Gojo got released. After season one of anime aired I caught up to the manga(as it was entering the culling game game arc) and most of why I read is kinda a blur or it’s all muddled together because I binge read it but I did think it was weird that Gege skipped a whole month after Gojo returned and we never really got to see the characters react to gojos return or see how Gojo felt during his time in the prison realm. I mean I like JJK but it the only explanation we got was that the prison realm felt like working an entire work week or something along those lines. It didn’t really affect Gojo it seemed and I do have another gripe with the battle with Sukuna v. Gojo. So currently what Gojos nosebleed is telling us that he’s fatigued but somehow after 5 domain clashes Sukuna isn’t fatigued like Gojo? Idk it feels kinda weird but I’m enjoying it
I can agree with sum of portions of maki nd the zenin clan was not written well nd yuki dying was annoying. However, she DID put up a good fight against kenjaku , nd the anti gravity shi actually makes sense 😭 Also i dont think her death was meant to be sad but more so a push for choso. I think the culling games was entertaining from a shonen battle standpoint , but once sukuna took over megumi i got similar vibes i got from shibuya. However i can see if u think this gets overwritten by yorozu/tsumiki. My issue with that is, the whole idea was that what these characters were trying to achieve , was utterly meaningless which establishes a more dreadful tone, which is why i likes it sm. I think the reaction of “it was all for nothing” is a misinterpretation.
I have to be real: I disagree with 90% of the video. I don’t need another One Piece, I don’t need another Naruto, and I definitely don’t need another HxH, so I’m fine with JJK’s brisk pacing. We’ve gotten multiple perspectives on the Zenin clan throughout the entire series, so I didn’t care when they got blown away in 5 chapters, they fulfilled their purpose. I don’t need to see in depth flash backs of the Heian era sorcerers because JJK’s world building and themes connects them to the modern day sorcerers almost seamlessly. While the rules and stakes introduced at the start of the CG felt heavy handed at first, I didn’t feel cheated when Kenjaku trivialized them or when Sukuna killed Tsukimi because that was the point. These things were supposed to feel awful and unfair, they were supposed to obscure the goals of the villains and ultimately raise the stakes. Where I agree with you is definitely the Tsukimi fight. I understand that if she killed Kenjaku, the series would be even closer to finished than it is now, but Gege really did away with her too soon. When you think about it, her impact on the series, and unlike Naoya, I only want to know more about her. Nobara’s disappearance disappoints me too. If she isn’t coming back, all I really need is to see her either in a hospital bed or a coffin, anything to provide some closure. We won’t know where Gege is going with this until the series ends, but hopefully he addresses these issues. Overall, this arc takes a lot of the best elements of the Goodwill arc and Shibuya imo. I really don’t want Gege to drag the series too much because I’ve seen how mangaka get burnt out or how stories get rushed or cancelled because their stories get too big for their own good. I have a good feeling Gege is aware of all of this too.
Nobara could be alive and yes i think it was intentional to keep it in the middle because when Megumi brought it up, Yuji shut him down. Bro didnt let him speak to confirm her state. Im debating either Angel or Nobara with Yuji will pull Megumi up to the surface and get Sukuna out.
JJK is a jump manga, and rarely if ever do one of those not have a slow period compared to their peak arcs/chapters. I'll still enjoy it unless something that I really dislike becomes a focus of the series or they botch the ending.
I'm gonna be a jjk dickrider for a moment here and say the pacing is justified for a few reasons: 1. Gege stated he didn't wanna do a long manga, he wanted it short 2. realistically the pacing makes sense, I mean if the entire city is thrown into chaos like say with the culling games, the fast paced nature of it captures the sense of urgency and panic, same can be said for other faster parts of the manga since, fast paced suits the manga very well. 3. Gege is essentially summarizing plot points, so things feel rushed or condensed but I honestly feel the manga captures most of the important parts. 4. lastly with the direction of the plot, the times of the jujutsu world should feel fast paced because the times are changing, its like the rushing in of a new era, I really can't say its not realistic because it does honestly feel realistic. side note a lot of people have complained about how culling games felt drawn out and too long, others complain about how an entire chapter can be dedicated to talking, so I think most people just prefer the fast paced nature of it.
I guess we'll see how this arc ends, I do kind of agree with a lot of your takes. As I've been reading it I was somehow kind of under the impression that we weren't quite in end-game yet. I figured that Gojo would win against Sukuna, but in such a matter that leaves the door open for further plot advancements. Like maybe Sukuna would end up back trapped in Itadori again, and then we'd finally start to see Sukuna and Itadori working together, and we'd see Itadori start to develop some of Sukuna's cursed techniques like we were promised at the beginning of the series. Meanwhile some other threat with Kenjaku could emerge, idk. But more recently, after looking at different videos of people's takes on the direction of the current story, I've been looking back it through a different lens. And now that I think about it, you are right, it does feel like Gege is just kinda done and ready to end the series which sucks cause I would have loved to have seen Itadori and Yuta hit their full potentials and potentially be on Gojo's level.
Yuji especially because like you said we were supposed to see him get Sukuna's ct and he just hasn't? Like they mention that they have a final finger at Jujutsu High and that he has no problem with eating it so maybe Gojo wins and Itadori does that because it's the last piece of Sukuna? IDK
Yorozo was pretty self-explanatory. She was in love with Sukuna because he was stronger than her. She was the strongest around and believed that Sukuna was lonely like her because he was so strong. The end result was that she wasnt on his radar at all because the gap was so big
@@myriadbIades i mean she says it like 7 times in one fight lol. They mention her feat of strength in the flashback, she seems bored with it, then see's Sukuna and talks about how he won't have to be lonely anymore. Then she's killed by him and is only happy because it proves someone strong like her exists. Which is why she wanted to teach Sukuna the same thing about strength that she felt. She failed of course because only Gojo sits at the peak with Sukuna, but everything she wanted to convey she did in that fight
@storysurgeon5922 if anything the idea of being her lonely because of her own strength is more up to interpretation then anything else, with Sukuna I can agree but for Yorozu herself I didn't really get that feeling from her, unless that interpretation of it comes from how she looks at love but I chalked that up to being more of just a toxic way to see love IMO, I'm open to being wrong but I didn't like her character or how she was done which is why I felt like I didn't get anything from her in the first place
@@myriadbIades thats fair, you are correct that it's a toxic way of viewing love. But it being toxic and it being how she views it aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. The reason I say its shown that the loneliness comes from strength is how she's introduced (by them talking about how strong she is), how she reacts to Sukuna (by saying he doesn't have to be alone anymore), then what she says to Sukuna (that she knows about the loneliness that comes from strength, and she'll show him true love). I think more could have been done with her, but I think her motivations and values were done pretty well upon her first entry
@@storysurgeon5922 The main reason I say it could be how she views love was because of how she said love itself is something that provides both ultimate strength and loneliness but maybe its how I read it or a difference in translation? Like we're referring to the same line here but maybe I just read into it wrong? But yeah I can see what Gege was sort of going for with her character but it wasn't really done that well for me, regardless I can mess with this interpretation
nah this video deserves my sub, spoke fax and only fax, showing me things i never even realized and has me hoping we get many anime only episodes in the coming seasons
Same bros 😭 I am hoping anime fixes this culling game junk. Alot of main season 1 characters became fodder in culling. Miwa walking around was weird, I think Gege was going to give her a fight or help civilians to prove a point she wasnt useless. If she wasnt going to do anything Gege could have just given her take Mechmarus advice and turn back. I couldnt care any less about the new characters and why they were even fighting. Zero background and story for them. Can go on and on. So sad and mad Jjk headed this way. Basically its like Gege took the money and is making a run for it. 😂
@@6-bit29 yes, Hagarama and Hakari are my favorite fights but after those too it felt completely weird to me why I couldnt get excited for Yuta fight with Ryu and Uro. I was looking foward to Yuta the most, someone else had explain it better but theres a difference between a character having shown fights and a character having progression in their own character plot. There was alot of hype for Yuta and we know he is strong but something crucial was missing that was going to be central to the involvement in either Sukuna or Kenjaku. I hope Gege delivers. Even so Maki Sumo fighting out of nowhere was freaking random lmao. I understand the reason for her to amp but literally these characters came out of nowhere in the middle of nowhere 🤣 theres alot stuff happening just because they can rather then building up to it. At this point everything that was build up in season1, the 60 chapters has already been used and delivered in Shibuya arc so culling games doesnt have much, it would have been the prefect opportunity to build these no characters if given the time and close up plot points smh. Ranting at this point lol
Art fell off gojo looks horribly inconsistent Culling games was unbearable Zenin clan was too unexplored and didnt make me feel shit for mai Maki is a reskin toji Yuji got sidelined Hidden inventory and Shibuya are peak jjk. It just all feels like a massive fumble and is utterly unenjoyable to read
if what your saying is true then. the shibuya arc should have setup the next arc while its happening. however if that didnt happen then jjk should take a slice of one piece and realise that even in the marine ford arc wich is seen as one climax of the series it still build itself for the next arcs. meaning that whenever oda stops doing build up for the first time we will truly see peak one piece and we have seen nothing yet. thats why its still so good and thats the same route jjk has to go. if not then the series finally will not reach the same heights as naruto or one piece will.
Plus Naruto and anime like dragon ball z does all these time skips y’all don’t say shit why because no matter how confusing it gets your all for it but when a series like this gets one y’all start complaining just shut up and enjoy the show or at least wait for the series to reach its peak give it time
Hear me out. If I'm not mistaken Gojo through the series hints at the Jujutsu world is changing. Like an upheaval of everything everyone knew, so maybe the zennin and Yuki were cannon fodder for showing how the jujutsu world is changing from sukunas time period to gojos to the next generation of sorceress idl just a though good video too
I'm sure the anime will fix the pacing problems of maki vs the zenin clan arc and give more screen time to yorozu. I only have 4 complaints: - Yuki being a disappointment - I didn't like naoya's comeback (maki killing him so he didnt return as a curse) - The pacing between gojo's comeback and his fight vs sukuna (we're most likely getting flashbacks about yuji's cursed technique and the plan to rescue megumi and beat kenny) - The thing I don't like about sukuna vs gojo is that it doesn't feel like much is on the line with everyone watching like if it was a tv show. I'm so bad about yuki's death tho. I wish yuki would have beaten kenjaku's as making him go and unseal the 3 vengeful spirits and having a big battle after sukuna vs gojo or something like that so just yuki gets more screen time
@@myriadbIadesdefinitely agree with u on yuki. The fight was great but the conclusion felt like an asspull. I’m not gon lie to u bro, I disagree with a good chunk of this vid. Particularly the maki Vs Zenin thing and yorozu thing.
@@myriadbIades The zenin clan had plenty of set up and the entire point of it was tp convey how strong maki is now. No one in that clan currently is near Toji’s level, so it makes sense hat they got destroyed. As for buildup, they’re not stated to be gojo levels of strong or something, the buildup is mainly on how fucked up they are. Naobito for example is a high up member in the clan and he’s not insanely strong, just strong. Maki decimating them like that was supposed to make her look very strong
@@myriadbIadesbesides that I don’t really see any other major issues in the CG. Sure the pacing a little weird, but you gotta understand that Jjk is normally fast paced. For any time period that’s skipped over, flashbacks will cover the important parts
Now that you reminded me of those 2-3 girls that did nothing, got introduced then killed, i legit think Gojos death chances skyrocketed yet again 😂 Because he just got reintroduced, he did nothing in his month and now he's gonna die
13:30 What's so hard to understand about "antigravity system"? It's just antigravity. That's already a word, and not a particularly complicated one at that
Y’all say this about every anime and it hasn’t fallen off one fight and y’all already saying it’s off every fight can’t be win just by pure strength y’all are part time anime watchers cause a true anime fan waits until the season is almost done to judge it
With the circumstances of her introduction at the end of Shibuya and how she tags along to talk to Tengen, i feel like it was just unfortunate but also inevitable that she would die. Tengen was always gonna make her protect them and when the inevitable fight with Kenjaku happened she just wasn't gonna win. Kenny is just in a tier of his own below Sukuna and Gojo atm. she still got a cool fight i guess but introducing her at the end of shibuya just sealed her fate. Would have been sick to see her murk people in a colony but oh well
The thing about jujutsu kaisens pacing problem is that its not a mistake, gege literally stated in an extra page in chap 152 that he wants the series to have a fast pace and he wants to finish the story as fast as possible to the point that he doesnt like to take breaks even when his editors asks him to😅
@@madmouse4400 nah, the part about ending it in 2023, was something he said back in 2021(or 2022, forgot which one), this year gege or his editor said jjk is in the wrapping up phase but its not ending anytime soon
@@randomdudelol5263 by anytime soon, you mean within the next 2 years? I think it might end in 2024. *spoilers* gege has emphasized fast pace and fights since shibuya, and gojo vs sukuna at 12 chapters was the longest one bc they were the two strongest. I think it may be under 50 chapters left because theres only a few things left to cover (sukuna vs yuji, kenjaku fate, megumi fate, sukuna backst ory, tengen merger with humans, culling game conclusion, kenjaku reveal as yuji parent)
@@dondahighhh12 his editor didnt mention how long itll take, he just said its in the wrapping up phase, I think itll take more or less 50 chaps if gege doesnt rush things, im certain theres more twists to come, so as a safe bet i think itll end in early 2025(like in the first quarter of the year), aside from what u mentioned(which i think are all true), imo theyre going to go into stuff like what gojo had to do in the 1 month skip, what they plan to do with sukunas last finger(nobara comeback with resonance hopefully hahaha), and i got some other theories but not much basis for it, like i wonder if the method of making sentient curse corpses that yaga had will come into play and how it will effect things cuz if it doesnt come into play his death is kinda meaningless n i wonder why gege even made panda in the first place other than comedic relief lol
even when we were crawling through the culling games it was just battle royale of the week and all the cool characters trolling in the background from the first 2 arcs get snuffed in a few chapters im not invested the same as when junpei showed up even though HE was around for a handful of chapters.
Gege is not trying to be Oda and spend 20 years writing this story out. And I dont get why people are downplaying this mans health, he wants to tell the story as concisely as possible. And there is always a chance that they expand on more in the anime instead. He said he is trying to wrap this story up this year. If people want every single detail and know what every characters relationship is with their grandpa, aunt's and cousin is go read One Piece or something, JJK aint for you. people are just coming up with these edgy videos complain about jjk because its fire right now and they are trying to monetize the popularity .
Lmao dick ride harder. I'm an avid jjk reader and agree with alot of his points in this video. It is definitely rushed and characters get introduced for plot convenience. (The sumo guy and samurai) try and defend that bs I dare you. The 1 month time skip, you realize that skip was longer than the whole culling games and preparation arc right? That type of pacing is ridiculous. That's why he just went straight to the gojo vs sakuna fight. It's just fan service when everyone knows the only thing that can happen for the story is for gojo to lose. This whole cliffhanger bs every weak is meaningless. In the last 2 chapters the fight starts and ends exactly the same with 2 breaks in between. Domain expansion then the wheel, domain expansion then mahoroga. Literally exactly the same. He wrote the culling games like a ufc fighting card. Fight after fight leading up the main event. We just watch3d the prelims now here is the belt fight. The rest of the cast is actually watching it on ppv! Lmao they are just bystanders like us. No story just fights. Might as well be dragon ball z.
Exactly, when I was listening to this video I realized how unrealistic him demands are. Fleshing out each and single one of the characters would force Gege to create like additional 100 chapters and that means 2 fuking years of your life. People need to chill the fuk out and realize that such long manga are rare for hundreds of reasons, mainly due to harsh conditions of this profession and complete lack of private life. So as you told, if you are looking for huge story with billions of characters from which each one is fleshed out, then go read One Piece, because JJK is not for you.
i dont think an arcs build up and climax lenght is how you can determine weither or not something is paced well. i was extremly satisfied with how quick it happened because it made maki seem more powerfull. granted i havent read beyond that but if jjk delivered on what i expected from maki after i have no problem with it. i dont want maki to struggle fighting or even talking to these guys. the most he could have done is adding a scene where maki stays silent to their questions as everything is answered in her own mind
I personally feel there was more to the Military. How did the gang save save them? Where are they? Are the different Foreign Military Gonna say “F It!” And still invade Japan for the Sorcerer’s for they’re own Experiments? That has me kinda bummed out regarding The Story 😔
Goated video, you have covered almost evry gripe that i have with the jjk aftet Shibuya . I would aslo include underdevelopment of Yaga and his relationship with Panda (although, it is not that crucial, i could not care less about Panda, tbh). But i would put the invasion of the foreign forces into Japan as a third biggest disappointment. What could have been the needed exploration of the world, cool scenes of sorcerers fighting soldiers and dire consequences (as it was foreshadowed in the Kenjaku and Yuki talk in Shibuya), for Japan, was reduced to mere two chapters of... i don't know, another Kenjaku biggie brain move? Like i get it, he is smart, but i did not rock with that writing decision. We spent a lot of time with politicians discussing this invasion, and if you think about it, the elimimation of a task force of a superpower country, should be a gateway to a world war like conflict on the horizon. Instead we get a chapter with a fisher curse and Michelangelo's painting refrence... which was so unnecessary and unjustified... Yeah, some of the CG characters, like Hana (and Angel), Yorozu (and Tsumiki), did not feel organic and fleshed out at all. Hana's backstory was in particular a great example of a clanky character writing, with her role being reduced to opening prison realm and her alliance with main cast feeling undeserved, rushed, unearned. Yorozu and Yuki... i don't even want to talk about. At least we got cool fight to see with Gojo, i guess...
@@gbemade asspull, makes this supposedly big moment for Yuki feel even less relevant than her entire character 🤷♂️. This blud tanked that it was regular Tuesday. Worst fight in the CGs.
I think you have a point about maki but completely wrong about CG.... Purpose of culling games was maybe to show the powers of soccers from current era and past.... It also sets narrative for future .... What about gojo and prison relm... What the fuck is tengen 😂😂😂.... What kenny is plotting.... What are sukuna plan.... That's why CG is imp... After Shibuya we all expected a cool down or some preparation like most of the shonen.... But jjk is different... Also yuji might not even be MC it can be megumi.... I also MC doing all the shit has gotten boring... Hence HxH is my favorite.... Gon might be the mc but he does not have to do heavy lifting.... Yuji is playing a role of catalyst for all the reaction which is taking place in jjk... That was his role to me... A CATALYST FOR CHAIN REACTION
@@KevinLopez-fm9kz I agree, but I still enjoy it weekly, obviously if gojo wins it makes zero sense plot wise, but the fight itself has been less predictable as I thought it would have been up until the last chapter which pretty much everyone knew what was gonna happen lmao
@@myriadbIades I agree with that take, I’ve heard it’s better if binged rather than how it unfolded weekly, some of the fights just seemed pointless, especially the military lmaooo
Not necessarily, but probably. The reason I say not necessarily is people like me. I haven't read JJK in ages, since near the beginning of the culling game... but here I am. I just wanted to see what's up.
I'll have to say while I understand some things that you were unhappy with, I have to disagree with most of what you said. No JJk did not fell off. For starters, this notion that Culling Games is not on the level of the Shibuya Arc. While I agree with that statement, I think it is a bit unfair for us to compare an arc that has to build up from the beginning of the series to an arc that had to set itself due to the events of the former. What do I mean by that? Shibuya Incident Arc was literally in the setting up phase from the beginning of the series. If you look at beginning of the series where we are introduced to Yuji all the way to Evening Festival Arc where Mahito and Mechamaru had their fight, every arc was had something to do with the Shibuya Arc buildup. So when we got to Shibuya we didn't need any unnecessary buildup cause it was done ahead of time. Whereas the Culling Games had to start all over due to the events of Shibuya, Because of the Shibuya Arc, alot of the characters are either dead, maimed or put to the sideline for later in the story. Culling Games literally had to start from ground up with introduction of new characters, new techniques, reintroduce plotlines, etc. If you look at the arc like that, I think it will be a better reading experience for you. Also, yuji not doing anything since Shibuya? Really?? Yuji has done his part in the story and just because he doesn't hog the spotlight like most MCs he is good character and when he does have his moments, he shows up. I'll end with a little rant. To all yall who dropped the series because Gojo wasn't in the series should stayed gone. Cause all yall showing is that you never cared for the series, you just liked one person. If one person being absent from the story is enough for you to drop said story, you were never a fan and I stand by that statement. Because if this fight in the manga between Gojo and Sukuna ends with Gojo's demise, yall will be the same ones saying 'JJk aint the same without Gojo' and ditch the series again. So since yall left, stay gone.
This is funny because everything you said about the Culling Games setting up its own narrative compared to how Shibuya was set up from the beginning is bar for bar exactly what I said lol that's not the issue I had with the Culling Games by itself at all
Bro you're too deep in the shonen jump everyone can be friends mentality. JJK is dark, and turns traditional shonen ideals on their head. Maki and Mai's situation ended the best that it could because unless there was more time in the storyline, the reconciliation would have seemed forced. Mai telling Maki to tear everything down was probably the most Mai way to go
it's best to realize anytime Gege tries math/physics based powers or explanations it's 99% nonsense are arguably MORE confusing if you actually know any math/physics

People are excited after Jjk ends to get movies databooks novels one shots but I dont get why when all that information could have been in the main manga in the first place.
Your source of that? 😂
Damn Gege doesn't like the story? And yet they still are making peak? impressive

Well it probably has now well for me at least
Maybe there is something coming with Miwa. By the way you mentioned that everything from the beginning of the manga was built up for the Shibuya Arc, but the Culling Game looks like an arc that is also building itself for a climax, especially regarding Kenjaku's plot, so I think we could get a better grasp of the whole quality of the arc after we see where it is actually leading.
Nah , Gojo got out the box she ain't getting shit fr
Idk it feels kinda weird but I’m enjoying it
Gege is most likely going to explain everything after this fight. That’s one of the main reasons why he is not ending the story this year
Naw jjk didnt fall of gojo vs fraudkuna is carrying it rn
And thats it. Everything else irrelevant no matter how the fight ends

There's always a slow period that's not really the issue by itself like I said but Gege can't pace for shit
I'm gonna be a jjk dickrider for a moment here and say the pacing is justified for a few reasons:
1. Gege stated he didn't wanna do a long manga, he wanted it short
2. realistically the pacing makes sense, I mean if the entire city is thrown into chaos like say with the culling games, the fast paced nature of it captures the sense of urgency and panic, same can be said for other faster parts of the manga since, fast paced suits the manga very well.
IDK
jjk is fire, hell no it has not fallen off
Great vid, man. Good thing it got recommended to me, definitely needs more recognition.

Yorozo was pretty self-explanatory. She was in love with Sukuna because he was stronger than her. She was the strongest around and believed that Sukuna was lonely like her because he was so strong. The end result was that she wasnt on his radar at all because the gap was so big
If that is the case then that point was just not communicated well enough imo

This is so nice!! Yeah I would definitely love some anime only episodes during the Culling Games season on some Bleach TYBW anime stuff lol
@@SemekiIzuio fr bro rereading the culling games made realize that other than the fights it was kinda mid
At this point everything that was build up in season1, the 60 chapters has already been used and delivered in Shibuya arc so culling games doesnt have much, it would have been the prefect opportunity to build these no characters if given the time and close up plot points smh. if what your saying is true then. the shibuya arc should have setup the next arc while its happening. however if that didnt happen then jjk should take a slice of one piece and realise that even in the marine ford arc wich is seen as one climax of the series it still build itself for the next arcs. meaning that whenever oda stops doing build up for the first time we will truly see peak one piece and we have seen nothing yet. thats why its still so good and thats the same route jjk has to go. if not then the series finally will not reach the same heights as naruto or one piece will.

I only have 4 complaints:
- Yuki being a disappointment
- I didn't like naoya's comeback (maki killing him so he didnt return as a curse)
- The pacing between gojo's comeback and his fight vs sukuna (we're most likely getting flashbacks about yuji's cursed technique and the plan to rescue megumi and beat kenny)
- The thing I don't like about sukuna vs gojo is that it doesn't feel like much is on the line with everyone watching like if it was a tv show.
I'm so bad about yuki's death tho. I wish yuki would have beaten kenjaku's as making him go and unseal the 3 vengeful spirits and having a big battle after sukuna vs gojo or something like that so just yuki gets more screen time
Yuki is def the most frustrating part of this series lowkey she had so much potential as a long standing character in the series

13:30 What's so hard to understand about "antigravity system"? It's just antigravity. That's already a word, and not a particularly complicated one at that
Zenin clan do not have overall value towards the endgame. It was only to focus towards maki's development that the clan was further introduced.
Y’all say this about every anime and it hasn’t fallen off one fight and y’all already saying it’s off every fight can’t be win just by pure strength y’all are part time anime watchers cause a true anime fan waits until the season is almost done to judge it
I don't feel that upset about yuki but yes I agree with her not getting enough screentime
Would have been sick to see her murk people in a colony but oh well
The thing about jujutsu kaisens pacing problem is that its not a mistake, gege literally stated in an extra page in chap 152 that he wants the series to have a fast pace and he wants to finish the story as fast as possible to the point that he doesnt like to take breaks even when his editors asks him to😅
He also said at the end of Shibuya that the story was padt 70% and reaffirmed earlier this year that he wants the series to finish in 2023 .
@@madmouse4400 nah, the part about ending it in 2023, was something he said back in 2021(or 2022, forgot which one), this year gege or his editor said jjk is in the wrapping up phase but its not ending anytime soon

gege has emphasized fast pace and fights since shibuya, and gojo vs sukuna at 12 chapters was the longest one bc they were the two strongest.
All these RUclipsrs want series to be long , drawn out and over powered .
You’re incredibly simple
even when we were crawling through the culling games it was just battle royale of the week and all the cool characters trolling in the background from the first 2 arcs get snuffed in a few chapters im not invested the same as when junpei showed up even though HE was around for a handful of chapters.

I think you missed the whole tsumiki plot twist...
has!!! 🙌🙌 anime hard carrying
Definitely since they're still at that part at the series where it was peak
intro so real
Had to make sure I slid my never ending addiction in there
Man, people really like to complain about literally anything they can, just enjoy what you have, Jesus Christ.
bro we know u want views
I swear

What’s is bro on?
Bro you're too deep in the shonen jump everyone can be friends mentality. JJK is dark, and turns traditional shonen ideals on their head. Maki and Mai's situation ended the best that it could because unless there was more time in the storyline, the reconciliation would have seemed forced. Mai telling Maki to tear everything down was probably the most Mai way to go
every single anime ever made has fallen off according to this guy
And its always true.
Jjk is trash
it's best to realize anytime Gege tries math/physics based powers or explanations it's 99% nonsense are arguably MORE confusing if you actually know any math/physics
