The capacity for runs in BBCSO is still quite amazing. Spitfire's velocity-based legatos being on offer across nearly all the instruments in the library means so much for hands on orchestration.
I find it more reliable for runs than libraries with pre-made patches, especially when you want something specific.

hey Chris, there are also great pre-played patches in action woodwinds and action strings 2, you can never get that originality if you played them in with normal articulations, next up will be actions brass, cheers mate

+ 1 action strings 2 runs is gold! Really love the feature that you can edit runs’ patterns and export midi to layer with other strings libs.

Hi! Would you say that those blend well with pacific strings? Thats really the only thing pacific is missing to make it the perfect lib. Nice video!

Thanks Chris, great video. Runs are nice device tp spice up compositions. There is a free violin runs library by VSL which is nice (iLok required). I never considered buying a runs library because I own CSS and CSW. You can build any run you want with the marcato patch and it sounds pretty convincing.
