Disclaimer: You are all Big boys/girls and you have to realise there are risks involved in trying any crazy move in windsurfing. So start slowly and try to feel the move first. Like I say this is how I learnt the push loop (and Phillip Koster too) so it can work. but build up into it. You have to feel the rotation first.
What about some tips about the table top. I do them (even if they're perfectible) on both tacks and according to me, it is the most simple trick once you have the regular jump. No big commitment, little risk of injury, and it's possible to learn them step by step. There's just this moment when you start doing them well enough but you don't totally control the descent and you land flat. There's a risk of ending up with 2 half boards.
+1 for Table-Top! I'd really love to see this. The table-top is definitely on my bucket list, but I don't really know how to get started here. Maybe others have the same issue?
Slightly off topic, but for the speed lovers among the viewers, would you consider doing a review on your Corus watch (as it is accepted on gps-speedsurfing). For example, is it possible to see your 5 times 10 sec average which is used for the rankings? You might want to combine it with a quick tips&tricks on doing proper slingshot. Thanks for sharing all this great stuff, really appreciated!
Great tip!! I think I could even try this, all we need now is some wind!! I like the way you break it up into simple steps. All these high end moves happen so quickly its a bit difficult to disect them sometimes.....
Great content as always Ben. I can upwind 360 in the straps. I've been trying it from across the wind as well, different sail placement. can't get the confidence to go for a flaka. love some tips. Just spent the the last four years learning to forward so can't believe the fear is back for this move!
Very nice explanation in how to get the feeling for the move and step by step improve the technique. Definetly will try it. As I work on the shaka quite a bit this would be great to see your tips on that move! Thank you Ben
Ben.. thank you so much... was wondering the perfect technic to start to pushloop.. and this one looks pretty awesome... you've given me confidence to start on.... thank you...
Yes this is brilliant information, never heard it before. Thanks for getting the footage and paving the way. Now roll on summer in Cape Town! Something I think I'm going to try for sure. Please make a vulcan video. I have even seen many people do them on wave boards, in the waves. Such a simple move, yet somehow I cannot get them. You can call it: "Freestyling for Aging People"
thanks a lot i will try. I fell like that hundreds of time (esp when. I am overpwred in Backy) but did not realize it could be a good segway for pushies
Excellent tutorial Ben, excellent work as always!! I think I got some essential tips that will help me to understand this move better! As a side note, it's a bit sad that these days we are forced to include some "disclaimer" because of some people negative comments highlighting their personal feeling rather than an actual danger. People should be responsible enough at the age of 18 and if they do not want to get injure or take any risk in life, they can just stay in bed.
Awesome, seriously motivated for this one as it feels like I have been halfway there in some of my early micro backloop efforts. Great video and explanation - love the way that there is a build up and progression to the ultimate goal!
Thanks you Ben for all those goods tips. Could do something about the surf frontside and aerial please? Is it necssary to read the wave through the window?
awesome! what I would like to hear is how you guys can sail away in in the footstraps with no speed what so ever. if i try that i m head deep in water😁🤙
I have punched some holes in various sails by going over the top and landing on the sail. Had somewhat given up, but this might just be the golden ticket!
Mission failed succesfully! Tried backlooping with your previous video but couldn't quite get it. Now tried push looping with this video and landed my first backloop. Oh well, won't complain :D

Agreed on table top, it's beautiful to see.
Maybe that's also why it's called the Table Top, because the 2 half boards become two new DIY tabletops
Love this video Ben! Spot on.

Awesome tips
works like a charm
Grande! Great!
What's the difference between a push loop and back loop?
Would you say push loop is easier to land than a backloop? Good tips! 🤙
The rule I use is... over powered. - Pushloop. Under powered - Back loop
The push loop is more scary but easier technically
amaziiiiinnngggg
백루프할때 항상 세일이 앞으로 넘어졌는데 뒷손을 나야 되는군요
SHAKA PLEASE!!! So frustrating.
I Wonna pushy !! me me me !
