      And if there’s an injury we have backups that many have started, even Herbig has played plenty

    His pursuit angles are great. First thing I noticed watching these clips. He also seems to have excellent balance and quick feet

      I remember Troy Palamalu, coming from out of the camera frame to tackle a WR from ten miles away. This has a similar vibe, as it seems like the guys he's tackling are gong in slow motion while he's coming from another country. It's uncanny.

    I remember when I first seen this clip. I didn't know who it was and I thought it was absolutely INSANE. Then I found out we drafted this guy! 🤯

    this man is a straight DAWG. Hoping he can stay healthy

  • @keithmuir1137
    @keithmuir1137 22 дня назад +4

    That boy can move!! Hope he can handle the bigger backs and receivers in the NFL. He will definitely be able to catch them. With his knee history, you'd think he would wear kneepads! If he can cover well, he could play nickel or anywhere in the defensive backfield. He will be a stud if he stays healthy. Thanks again Alex!!

    I’ve heard that there’s one play where he was clocked at 23.7 mph while chasing down and tackles the receiver. 😮 Super speed burst 💥!

    • @Shawn_313
      @Shawn_313 22 дня назад +1

      I saw a play where it was 23.4 on the GPS, That's insane top end speed. I don't know of any current receiver who has been clocked that fast. Not that there isn't, Just I haven't heard of it.

    I remember thinking his 4.43 speed at the combine was a bad day for him. And this video shows it. This is unreal speed. Give him another forty try, he's easily in the 4.3's.

      His RAS speed numbers are basically the same as Shazier. Maybe a little better depending on which metric you prefer.

    Even if he does turn out to be a one contract guy, it’ll be nice to an LB whose speed translates to the field. Haven’t seen that since shazier.

    The Steelers have fielded many high-quality inside backers. If Wilson is able to get up to speed, the pairing this season has the makings of the Kirkland & Chad Brown athleticism!!

    Alex, do you think he wins a starting ILB spot over Holcomb or Roberts?

    • @Alex_Kozora
      @Alex_Kozora  19 дней назад +1

      Holcomb still recovering from his knee surgery. He probably won't be in the mix out of the gate. I expect Queen and Roberts to start the year. Maybe Wilson plays in some nickel packages. Just going to have to gauge things in camp.

  • @udoingthemost
    @udoingthemost 22 дня назад

    He’s a faster Kyle Hamilton. Not a bad idea to play him at SS in some sub packages.
