As a proud owner of Chevy Cruze, I definitely would love Chevrolet coming back to India. That said, quality of some of their vehicles - probably built to cost for our market with components imported from their partners in China, was not all that good. Their customer focus / service also left a lot to be desired.

People wants short term benefits then a good quality product. My first car was Chevy beat. The warranty coverage on this product was amazing. I paid zero maintenance under CPCO package for 9 services. And above all I got better resale value then my friend's suzuki Ritz car which was bought same day. I hope Chevy enters again in Indian market and gives a hard competition to India brands. BTW, I liked the 2019 Chevy cruze most. If Chevy have its presence in Indian market today! Cruze might be my next car. Also note that I live in Ahmedabad and Gallops motors were Chevy dealer. I was so happy with their service and quality work. I am thankful to them for giving me some of my very good friends. Still Chevy provides good service to the existing car owners.
As Chevy is not selling its products, I may go for Tata cars.

I think SPARK was launched in 2008 not 2012. I bought beat diesel in 2012 and still driving. I love it to drive. Although It's 1 litre engine lacks in power but the built quality and driving comfort is awesome.

@@NakulDalakoti yeah I know cause I too own 2011 beat LS it still going strong after 64000 kms all driven by me with 1 service a year and few wear and tear parts changed such as weather strips, front suspension and link rods. You can feel the difference in built quality it's far better than Maruti and Hyundai.
