Jack is 400kg. But Alisa is half metal and she's 60kg? And half the female fighters would be around 100kg anyway, muscle weights A LOT. Why even mention a character's weight? Wtf does that accomplish?
Why would they weigh the same? They’re completely different models, using completely different tech. Alisa isn’t made to weigh a lot, even with metal, the material of which we don’t know and could be entirely fictional. Also, most of the female fighters don’t have a lot of muscle. If anything, a majority of them are pretty slender. Also, muscle doesn’t weight “A LOT” it’s just dense. Also, the weights are just for psuedo-authenticity. Wtf does mentioning their height or nationality or fighting style accomplish? You could ask the same question for just about anything minor. Why tf is weight such a big deal to you is something you should be asking yourself
@@kingkocoa4467 "weights a lot" and "dense" are synonyms in this context. Density in relation to volume, that's what I meant and it's what mass is in physics, that's literally the definition of density. Since we're talking about a human body we're using weight instead of mass - gravity has to be taken into consideration here. You're being unnecessarily picky, trying to gotcha me. So I'll simplify my argument for you: the same volume of muscle weights around 20% more than the same volume of fat. If you factor in the way we judge how much someone weights by sight alone, then two people having the same size will look vastly different based on their body fat %. The one with less muscles will seem fatter, so we will assume they weight more, when it's the opposite. That's what I meant. But that's exactly my point. I'm not mentioning why they assign blood types to characters even tho it makes zero sense to me because it has no bearing on the consumers of the media. It's a quirky, innocent tidbit of information. Why mention weight at all? And why make it so ridiculous? It's not adding any authenticity, quite the contrary. I've known lots of semi-professional female athletes, they were usually around 1.6-1.7 m and rather slender, but they did weight around 80-90 kg. I'm talking long distance runner, calisthenics or moderate weight-lifting type of athletes. Their physique was similar to some of the more solid female fighters in Tekken. And the ones that did weight less (so closer to the Tekken weights) were actually rather unhealthy despite being athletes, with their menstrual cycle giving up and overall pretty serious hormonal problems. And why did I even know their weight? Yeah, that's part of my point too. The obsession with weight is widely spread throughout the community of athletes of all sexes and genders. They talk about it constantly which is incidentally a symptom of EDs. I didn't want to know, didn't care and I was informed anyway. So perpetuating those ridiculous notions that muscly female athletes weight very little is unhealthy. Mentioning the weights is unnecessary, setting them to such unrealistic levels is bordering on malicious. And I'm sure lots of people picked up martial arts of all types thanks to Tekken, so why feed them these wrong ideas about weight? So they can apply these to themselves? That's malicious. Male fighters in Tekken are more varied in the department of representation of different body types so naturally I don't pay so much attention to their weights, but yeah, these are probably off-base too. I'd just have to judge every character separately, because as I said they do vary in body types. I've seen comments under this video about ridiculous weight measurements of some specific male characters, so the issue exists there too. Female fighters basically do not vary in body type, so it's easy to take one look and determine that it's all bull*hit. The Alyssa vs Jack debate is unwinnable. They could've decided that Alyssa is made of heavy metal or Jack is made with some sort of nanotechnology mumbo-jumbo, but they didn't for some reason. That reason is what interests me. Why did they choose to make the difference in their weight so stark? I can understand them wanting Jack to be a huge, heavy piece of junk, that's his whole vibe. But why is Alyssa another slender, delicate in weight female fighter? They had a choice to make her weight maybe not 400 kg, but at least 100 kg and they didn't. Whatever explanation in-universe isn't the explanation I'm looking for - it doesn't exist, y'know. Tekken isn't real. But the ideas in the creators' heads and reasons behind them, their inspirations do exist. And the effects their artistic decisions have on the consumers of the media also exist. That's why I care and why I ponder these decisions - I'm a rational consumer of art in all forms. Including a silly fighting game. You didn't have to interact with my comment if you don't care what content various media pushes onto you. That's your issue, not mine.

Xiaoyu live in japan and enrolled japanese highschool Alisa is programmed to serve Jin Lars is heihachi's son Lee is adopted by Heihachi ever since he was very young
Lee was adopted by a Japanese family and became a citizen. It makes sense that he speaks Japanese. Xiaoyu is a Chinese national, but seems to be a permanent resident in Japan. But based on how language works in these games, she should be speaking her native language. Same goes for Lars. Alisa is an Android built by a Japanese company. She shouldn't even have a nationality. 😂
Jin's main fighting style from T4 - T7 is Karate. His T8 is a mix of his Karate with Devil Jin's moves. He did use the Mishima and Kazama styles in story mode only and both styles were his fighting style in T3. The video is not wrong as it mentions the core fighting style of Jin in all the game modes including large parts of the story.
funny how everyone has an unique style, yet Law goes by simply "martial arts" hahah :D how lazy from Namco. they seem to forget their character was based on Bruce Lee, a.k.a founder of Jeet Kune Do :)
It’s always crazy to me how they speak to each other their own language despite not knowing if the other can even understand only to get a response in a different language and being like 👍🏽. That would require each fighter to know each other’s language. A requirement to even join The King of Iron Fist Tournament. You must know All languages.
EDIT: This aged like milk. As of now, they bought back Eddy, and apparently, Heihachi back as DLC fighters. Eddy returned as the game's first DLC fighter. I doubt they're going to bring back Heihachi since it has been stated by more than one character in the game that he's dead dead. I'm not sure if they have plans to bring back Mokujin or Julia, though.
Okay. Here we go. Reina: she's from Japan and uses Taido style mixed with Mishima Karate style. Zafina: She's from Egypt. Devil Jin: his height is similar to Jin Kazama. But weight might be more that Jin has.

So you telling me I’m shorter than every single males in this game? (176cm) Leo being the closest to my height yet I weight more than most of them (86kg or more)
Everything about Reina is unknown due to story reasons. Nina is always Irish but speaks in an american accent for her assassin work as stated by Harada himself. Xiaoyu is pure chinese but she was made to speak Japanese in order to reflect her present life as a high school student in Japan which Harada himself also confirmed. Alisa is a Russian made android and was programmed to protect Jin, so its only makes sense for her to be programmed to speak Japanese. Lee was taken in by Heihachi and eventually got Japanese citizenship but for some reason, he never took up a Japanese name. Lars is half-Swedish and since Japan practices Law of the Blood for citizenship, he got his mother's surname. He speaks Japanese since he serves the Tekken Force, which is based in Japan.
She's Irish, but she's learned to emulate other accents due to her nature as an assassin. It's so she can blend in. Williams may be an English surname, but perhaps she had an English grandfather/great-grandfather in her heritage.

Alisa was programmed to serve and protect Jin. That’s why she speaks Japanese
Lili weighs more than me bruh, i am a full grown adult male
she's a tall girl so it makes sense that her weight would be a little above the average for females!
maybe she’s taller than you
Love how Tekken is so diverse with character backgrounds and languages, yet still Nina doesn't have an Irish accent lol.
It's so funny how Xiaoyu, Alisa, Lars, and Lee are speaking japanese but not they're own traditional language
Xiaoyu live in japan and enrolled japanese highschool
Alisa is programmed to serve Jin
Lars is heihachi's son
Lee is adopted by Heihachi ever since he was very young
Lars wasn't raised by heihachi tho
Lars case, he is was the former commander of the Tekken force which speak Japanese
@@windandfireproductions5358 He's assigned in Japan (if I'm not mistaken) back when he's still in service. He definitely learn the language then
Lee was adopted by a Japanese family and became a citizen.
Would be nice to see xiaoyu incorporate some moves from her grandpa Wang style Xing Yi Liu He Quan
Maybe some information is wrong. You said jin,s style is karate. But, his style is Mishima and Kazama as, we have seen in the game.
You again mr. Edgelord
u again lmao
I was thinking the same thing. Lol.
I always thought Law was Chinese
He's Chinese-American
In game when Reina stands straight during her idle animation she is as long as jin.
The model height in-game are pretty weird, the concept arts are more truthful
In the story cutscene when he ignores her you can tell he is way taller than her and almost a head taller
Excellent!
Unless the game is basing characters off their fighting stances and not standing straight, reina is not that short
It’s always crazy to me how they speak to each other their own language despite not knowing if the other can even understand only to get a response in a different language and being like 👍🏽. That would require each fighter to know each other’s language. A requirement to even join The King of Iron Fist Tournament. You must know All languages.
Something wrong
Zafina is from not unknown this is from Egyptian
And reina not unknown
This is from japan❤
Reina she's talking from Japan ❤❤
Reina she was fighting for same like a kazuya ❤❤
It’s literally the info from the game how can it be wrong
Nationality not ethnicity.
Nationality: current citizenship
Ethnicity: Race
Reina was propably born in a laboratory test tube as a Devil Gene experimented.
Tekken 4 hinted at this
Isn’t Zafina Egyptian???
Many characters are missing in this game like eddy,Heihachi, Julia, mokujin
But weight might be more that Jin has.
and Jack is Russian robot
Weight is obviously more cause he has horns and wings anyways
32 fighters in Tekken 8.
* 3 New :
Victor Chevalier
Azucena
Reina Mishima
Azucena: You know why Tekken named me that right?!
Me: I can't see you?...
Azucena: You can't see me, correct!
Me: Usually it is the other way around when it comes to women's, this is new!
😂😭😭😭
6:02 é tão satisfatório ouvir o Hwoarang falar
*Edit*
0:39 o Claudio também!
So you telling me I’m shorter than every single males in this game? (176cm) Leo being the closest to my height yet I weight more than most of them (86kg or more)
All Asians in this game should be shorter than 160cm lol
Me 183-185
the developers definitely made a lot of mistakes with the weight of the characters lol it doesn't make sense
4:37 Karl Lagerfeld, the fashion designer, has had enough of everyone's shid. Now he's throwing hands.
To be honest Reina martial arts is on Taidō a Japanese martial arts
I wish they knew exactly what their fighting style is cuz they made them along with their movelist
where is silat ?
Ain't that Josie's?
@@Caddelight she is not, she is boxing or filifin martial art
Thinking Reina is definitely half japanese (because of Heihachi) but we don't know her mother's background.
Reina mishima beaftiful
I think there's a good chance that Zafina is an Egyptian. Just sayin
yoyu yoyu loves jin so much she forgot where she from lmao (she speaks japanese despite being from china)
her name is Xiaoyu and she speaks flaunt Japanese because she goes to school in Japan :)
Dragunov best voice in the game
Zafina from persia
1 Azucena
2 Claudio
3 Xiaoyu
4 Hwoarang
5 Shaheen
6 Lili
Only interesting this about Nina is her nationality…
Because its different than Steve? Remember nationality ≠ ethnicity
She's Irish, but she's learned to emulate other accents due to her nature as an assassin. It's so she can blend in.
Williams may be an English surname, but perhaps she had an English grandfather/great-grandfather in her heritage.
Its lame that the irish one doesnt have any accent
If I recall correctly, they didn't think it would fit Nina so they made her sound American. I think it's stupid.
Most of all it's a shame for King. I really like the sound of Mexican speech. Well, Seryoga Dragunov’s Japanese accent annoyed me throughout the game.
Im actually as tall and weigh just 3kg less than hwoarang. Why do I don't look muscular :( .
Edit: I don't think anyone would've had a chance against King. Realistically speaking 💀
0:13 Nah this is a voice mod
Where's negan,is he in Tekken 8😢
He is my favorite character in Tekken 7 😢
It's kind of ironic and sad that the only italian in the rooster doesn't have a "real" martial art. Come on. Boxing? Kick boxing? Greek-roman? No, pew pew energy
He’s an exorcist why would he have one of those fighting styles lol, you want them to make a stereotypical greasy Italian wearing a leotard?
Martial law from china, Reina from Japan
Marshall Law is American just like Paul Phoenix
Marshall is Chinese-American
When Nina's nationality changed from US to Ireland? 😅😅
She always was Ireland
Zafina is like... Egyptian... or something.
3:20 uhm, I thought law's martial arts is jeet kune do.
Comment section doesn’t know the difference between Nationality and Ethnicity. Explains the fighting game community.
Lars cannot be the same height as Lili and Cladio. It can be seen from the outside. He was 183 in Tekken 7, how can he be 180 now?
Age
@@Kane_2001 People don't start getting shorter at 30 man.
Wait Heihachi Incoming
i thought zafina is egyptian. since i am one, why did they write her nationality as unknown? shaheen gets to retain his nationality as saudi arabia since his introduction in the games because saudi arabia hosted, promoted and made some investments in some tekken tournament with substantial prize pools, but zafina removes her egyptian nationality? why?
No way Leroy is 77kg
Why Alishia is 60 kg, she is a robot. 😢
People this is in-game universe information, suspend your audience knowledge and preconceptions
Feng must have hollow bones at only 83 kilograms, guy`s a truck and kinda scary 😂
(wow, I am just the same height and weight as my fave, Kazuya)
Hwoarang's Taegukgi Flag is wrong. Did you searched South Korean national flag on,Google?
Law has the bruce lee amination in tekken7 my dad says law looks more like bruce lee ive seen bruce lee
Alisa from Russia
Lars from sweeden
But speak Japanese))
Nationality is not the same as ethnicity
Why is devil jin's height unknown when he is literally the same body as jin but with edgelord addons.
Also, why tf does reina have no fighting style, we literally see her use mishima-style karate.
Zafina Is from Egypt for this who didn't knew
No Jackie Chan? Aka lei wulong?
He didn't appear in this game
Я думал, что Хваран - американец, а Нина - русская. 😅
Most of these fighting styles aren't actually fighting styles
60kg으로 알리사같은 안드로이드를 만드는게 가능한 철권 세계관 ...
The Korean flag on the thumbnail changed the upper right pattern and the lower left pattern.
and reina's fighting style is heihachi style and nationality is japan becuase heihachi is from japan
What do you mean law fighting style " Martial art " ??!! Wtf????
Marsian art
Sound like Noto Mamiko-san on Kazama Jun
@tongsandoval1818 oh Okay. Noto Mamiko-san soft spoke voice pretty much recognizable. I almost confused to Hayami Saori as well.
Noto Mamiko-san can recognize as well.
how someone from Peru is 171,white with blue eyes and has caucasian features still baffles me...Like Tekken team never seen latinos in their lifes
Also why is Claudio japanese lookin? No suntanned olive skin,no dark hair,no body hair,no Mediterranean features...bro tf did these people smoke lol
Well, Peru, like Brazil or Mexico, is very diverse and is not so out of place, except for the face that is almost a standard in action girls like Jill Valentine or Lara Croft, the other features do fit very well, especially the hair and skin tone. She is not the average, but girls 1.70 tall is not a rarity either (especially if she is a fighter), in the capital and in the north of Peru there are girls with much whiter skin than her. What is perhaps not so typical of Peru is the issue of coffee (which is something more from Colombia).
Sum of em aint japanese but still speak japanese 😅
Some character nationality doesn't fit like law and lee
Zafina is egyptian
Lee was Chinese
he's American of Chinese descent. meaning he was born and raised in the US but his parents-grandparents etc are from China.
Feng vs Retsu 🤔
