The base deck is trying to do too many things at once. Coven, so there's tons of cards that make 3 random tokens, human tribal, angel tribal, and the +1/+1 counters
Just had a thought, Kyler with Bone Sabers would make him and the Human tribe have a snowball effect. Still think this precon even with uprgrades is just fine for a +1/+1 counter deck, but there certainly are better options since Coven hasn't had further support. Maybe they could revisit this rule and try to make the payoff better, but as a baby's first +1/+1 precon, this deck serves it's purpose.

Coven is incidental value that is to help you across the finish line in a draft game. If they wanted coven to be a thing they needed to actually print good coven mythics and rares, something they did not do in TWO innistraad sets

While playtesting Coven is not hard to pull off at all, partially due to Leinore being 0 power. The problem with Kyler is he's public enemy number 1 and you really have to protect him. Plus any commander that draws cards even if it's once per turn is generally strong but the way Leinore is I think most opponents will focus elsewhere with their removal.

Curse of Clinging webs is a pain if you're playing the zombo deck tho

What would you say is the power level of the deck after the upgrade?
As this is only a $100 upgrade. The power level is just over that of the normal precon. So maybe about a 5.
