- Jack Eichel scored a pair of goals and Chandler Stephenson and Shea Theodore added two assists each as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 4-2.

Jack had a lot of pressure as a young guy in Buffalo expected to carry the team but here in Vegas he's blossomed into the player he was always meant to be.
Idk what coach said to the boys in the first intermission after a sloppy first but they showed up in periods 2 and 3. Hats off to Tarasov and hope Hill is okay. GKG

Tarasov must be N1 goaltender for Columbus, 46 stopped shots, bad for him he plays for such a week team with garbage defence

главное надо как можно быстрее бежать из этой дыры. Пока статистика хорошая и возраст молодой надо себе найти команду, которая борется хоть за что то, тогда и в плей-офф поиграет и денег нормальных заработаешь. В свое время Бобровский так поступил и не прогадал...

You do know they went into the last playoffs with Hill injured? Brossoit started it, got injured, and Hill took them the rest of the way. I think Thompson can do it. Or at least, hopefully, he plays well long enough for Hill to return.
VGK didn't even have Hill when they reached the playoffs. it was all Thompson and Laurent Brossoit until they both got injured. And VGK went most of the season without Hill already with Thompson on net, they are fine.
@@DiogenesTheCynic. minor correction: Thompson never played a playoff game in the Cup winning run. He was injured late in the season and was part of the reason why Vegas got Quick (who was back up behind Hill). Brossoit played all of the Jets series and got injured in the third game of the Oilers series.
