Great video! It would have been nice to hear what you do when the pups don’t yet have their own root system, if that process is different at all. Your plants all look so healthy.

I really love your videos, they're super helpful as I fumble my way through plant ownership. Here's a question I've been debating. I bought my pilea potted with two decent sized plants in the same pot. They seem to be doing fine, but I worry that the crossing stems from both plants leaves will cause breakage and prevent my plants from growing into the large, beautiful umbrella shape I am working towards. Do you recommend separating them and repotting, or leave them be? If so, any tips on the separation process? Thank you for your help!!

I have this plant and it’s so picky. Does it grow slow mine seems like it does. Could you let me know what kind of soil you used. Thank you. Oh yes the words at the bottom of the video goes to fast to read.

I got a Pilea baby from a larger plant that a friend had. I got home and put it in a small vase with water, no soil. I left it there for about a month and now whenever I take the water out it almost immediately droops. It can’t go for any amount of time out of the water. Several of the leaves have yellowed and fallen off, with only one new leaf growing VERY slowly. I’m scared it’s going to die and idk what to do. Anyone got any ideas? Should I just leave it in water forever? How fast should it put out new growth?

Hi Brad, I’ve had my Pilea for about 6 month now, still alive, seems happy 😆 I finally see a pup growing off the the side, but it’s not looking like a normal baby Pilea. It’s like a stump with Pilea leaves growing up it like a tree. Is that normal too? The little stump is kinda getting impeded by the pot rim, do I replant the mother into a bigger pot so the baby stump has more room to grow? Please get back to me ASAP so I can re-pot if I need to. Thanks for your input
    Happy Planting 💜🌺🌸
