Said it before, but that gravel ride you did with 50% girls was my favourite video of yours. The drone footage heading down that barren descent was amazing.
@@longandwinding if you can't get something from a sponsor, and don't want to spend crazy money, I'd highly recommend the Carbonda 707 frameset as a starting point.
When someone's adventure ride used to be your daily commute 🤣 Living in Eltham, I would either ride this route (peeling off towards Diamond Creek Trail just after Westerfolds) or I'd ride the Peak Cycles Mt Pleasant loop.
Great video Hamish and nice to see you back on the bike. Funnily enough I was in a bunch with the MAAP crew at the end of the Dirty Warrny this weekend just gone. Good crew, lead by the same fella with leg tats from this video. You gotta get some k's in the legs for the Odyssey and then another gravel bike for the Dirty Warrny next year. Great event!
I crashed twice when going for a ride after the rain had finished. Hit my chin and needed glue to patch it, super slipped in Melbourne after the rain. Keen for some trail action soon.

Yeh that is one of my favs. Hopefully I can do some similar rides with that crew again once I’ve got a gravel bike again

The barren descent is call The Bowden Spur...... Simply stunning! Unless you try to ride UP IT !!!
FIRST! Nice to see a new upload mate. And maybe a new gravel bike vid!
Working on that!
The MAAP boys love their leg Tatts ..... I thought you were luck to go down twice on the road bike in terrible conditions. Good video Hamish
Thanks buddy! Hope all is well

Underbiking makes old trails new again

Ah so cool. I’m so keen to do the Dirty Warrny next year! Getting fit for the Odyssey would also be a good goal
