Was allowed to see this on my 16th birthday, and to take a friend. I LOVED LOVED this movie....she was Karen Carpenter's arch nemesis. Both covered the song SUPERSTAR but Karen made hers a huge hit
@@LuzMaria95 We all know that. But there wasn't a scene in the book that describes in exact detail what we see in the movie where Meryl Streep makes her grand entrance....which happens to match this scene.
There are definite similarities between this scene and the scene from devil wears Prada in relation to the elevators, but the main difference is the devil wears Prada was a fashion magazine empire while Moramax was a completely different business altogether.
Never realized ‘the Devil wears Prada’ was paying tribute to this movie.
BETTE WAS SO GREAT IN THIS MOVIE.........THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SEQUEL :)
Get tougher rats! Haha as a scientist...that's brilliant...
"Is this how you dress for the office? You look like a Bloody Clot" I died LMFAO 😂🤣💀☠️👻
My sister and I were crazy over this movie in the early 90’s. Rented it EVERY WEEKEND from our local Video Club
Da mucha risa la pelicula. Te saludo de Argentina.

Similar intro as 'The Devil Wears Prada' and '101 Dalmatians'. But, of course, 'Big Business' was released first.

Nocturnal Lover errrrmmm more like plagiarized by devils wears prada
@@p4u7y It's a tribute, not plagiarism...
umm... the arrival scene in 101 Dalmatians was nothing alike... but DWP conjunctionally paid homage to Big Business and 101 Dalmatians
and Working Girl when Sigourney Weaver appears. I always felt that the Devil wears Prada did copy this scene.
Is this how we dress for the office, Shane, you look like a blood clot!
Bette Midler: making Prada strolls through the office badass before Meryl Streep and Glen Close 😁
The epitome of 100%! All I ever wanted to be was THIS Sadie!
This is the basis for Devil Wears Prada when Miranda arrives and steps out of the elevator
The way she looks at the camera is perfect for this scene
Back in the times when Winnie and Rory's grandfather shared the office...
Broooo the OG Miranda Priestly!!! 😍 I love her
Gotta loooove Ms Midler! xx oo
I love this movie back when they were funny and the actors were good.
El subte y el taxi son lo más jajaja.
Bette walked so that Glenn and Meryl could run. Fantastic.
Get tougher rats!
0:44 it looks like she's looking straight to the camera telling the audience "look at these two idiots!"
Yep!!! Having a dejavú to The Devil’s Wear Prada.
"Thats me when I grow up!" Me at 5, 15, 25, 30 and 35 years old
Me at 38: "Yeah, that's Me, Fuck!" 😝
grow up
Devil Wears Prada
Well, obviously The Devil Wears Prada completely ripped this movie off. O.o Who knew.
-never watched this movie
Carissa Conti also the entrance is from cruella de vil entrance
The devil wears Prada is based off a book by the same name. But yes.

I did
Before “Devil Wears Prada”, there was “Big Business”.
dieting again, are we
That's the best part😂he's so messy
Mmhm not here...
Bette does Alexis :))
“Get tougher rats.”
بالتوفيق يارب زرعت الورد عندك بتمنى تشرفونا وشكرا
She was savage compared to Meryl and Glenn. Her insults and shade was way more epic.
Much more powerful than devil wear prada. Bette dominated men. Ahah
True. The DWP is funny but Bette did it somehow more believable. Miranda was an ice queen but Bette/Sadie was a badass boss lady.
How is the name of this song?
Miranda Priesley 90`s haha
this is the mid 1980s
She Meryl Streeped before Meryl Streep.
